Heartfelt Creations - Faith in Bloom

 Hi and welcome!

Oh my, it's sooo hot out! In fact it's so hot, I think I even have to water my paper flowers! 😂😂😂

My card today is a slimline and I'm loving making these cards. Again, I used the Climbing Clematis Collection along with some lace, vellum and a wood sentiment.

Heartfelt Creations Products:

Hydra Sponges, RLHS100

Instructions: Card size is 3 3/4 x 8 3/4”. Cut white cardstock to 8 3/4 x 7 1/2”. Score and fold on the short side at 3 3/4” to create card base. Ink the edges with of the front of the card with vintage photo ink. Cut mat layers 3 1/2 x 8 1/2”, 3 1/4 x 8 1/4” and 2 3/4 x 8 1/4”. Cut a vellum strip 2 5/8 x 8 1/4”. Ink all of the edges using Vintage Photo ink and distress the edges using a distressing tool. Add more ink as needed. Adhere the two largest mat layers together using dries clear adhesive and adhere to the card base. Cut two pieces lace ribbon to fit and adhere to the mat layers. Adhere the vellum strip to the 2 3/4 x 8 1/4” designer paper using dries clear adhesive and adhere over the ribbon. Cut a piece of the designer paper 3 5/8 x 8 5/8”, ink and distress the edges and add to the inside of the card. Stamp the sentiment ‘Today I CHOOSE to cast ALL my cares upon HIM because I know He Cares for me’ from the Words of Comfort Cling Stamp Set on white cardstock using Majestic Violet ink. Ink the edges, diecut using the largest arrow from the Arrows and Banners Die set and adhere to the designer paper.

Stamp the Clematis flowers on Deluxe Flower Shaping Paper using Majestic Violet and Vibrant Fuchsia inks ink, color with the same inks and diecut using coordinating die. Stamp the leaves from the Large Floral Urn Cling Stamp Set on Deluxe Flower Shaping Paper using Olive ink, color using Vivid Chartreuse ink and diecut using coordinating die. Shape the flowers in the Clematis Shaping Mold. Cup the centers of the flowers using the stylus from the Deluxe Flower Shaping kit. Pierce the flower centers using the Groove Golf Tool set and add the Bridal Bouquet stamens. Secure the stamens with hot glue. Dab the tips of the stamens with Majestic Violet and Vibrant Fuchsia inks. Shape the leaves using the Deluxe Flower Shaping Tools. Sponge the flowers and leaves using dries Clear Adhesive and sprinkle with Rajni Chawla’s Crystal Clear glitter.

Trim the stamen stems from the back of the flowers using a scissor. Adhere 7 flowers, 1 large and two small in Majestic Violet and 2 medium and two small in Vibrant Fuchsia going up from the bottom of the card front. Cut apart the leaves and adhere where needed.

Cover the wood ‘Faith’ sentiment with VersaMark, cover with WOW Gold Metallic Embossing Glitter and heat set using the Heat It tool. Adhere to the top of the card front using dries clear adhesive.

Make four bows using white satin cord and add to card front using hot glue.
