Today I'm sharing a pretty birthday card using the beautiful Decorative Gateway Dies and the Delightful Daffodil collection. I just love the butterfly from this collection, don't you?

Other Products: Champagne Metallic Cardstock, Watercolor Paper, VersaMark, Foam Square Dimensionals, Sheer Shimmer Spray Sparkle, Diecutting machine

Instructions: Card size is 5 x 8”. Cut the outside die from the Lattice Flourish Gateway Die two times from champagne metallic cardstock. Adhere 1” double sided tape to the second one before diecutting. Score the second diecut right under the tape and adhere the two panels together. Cut Luxe Gold Cardstock using the same die and adhere to the card front. Cut the decorative dies from the Lattice Flourish Gateway Die set and adhere to the gold cardstock as shown using dries clear adhesive.

Using the second largest eyelet die from Eyelet Frame Gateway Die, cut from Luxe Gold Cardstock. Using the second largest plain die from the same set, cut from champagne cardstock, stamp ‘Hope your day is as special as you are’ using VersaMark ink, sprinkle with gold embossing powder and heat set using Heat It tool. Adhere these two panels together and then adhere to inside of card.

Stamp the spray from the Delightful Daffodil Spray Cling Stamp Set and the butterfly from the Delightful Daffodil & Butterfly Cling Stamp Set on watercolor paper using VersaMark, sprinkle with gold embossing powder and heat set using Heat It tool. Color with Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers and diecut using coordinating die. Diecut a second time and adhere the layers together. Spritz with Sheer Shimmer Spray-Sparkle, shape using the Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit and adhere to the card front as shown using dimensional squares.

Cut the butterfly overlay from Luxe Gold Cardstock and adhere to the butterfly using dries clear adhesive.

I love creating with the Delightful Daffodil Collection and I love finding new fun folds. This one is called a double front fun fold. 

It's also fun to be creating with spring flowers as the snow covers the ground.

Instructions: Double front card size is 4 1/4 x 5 1/2”. Cut champagne metallic cardstock 6 x 5 1/2”, score at 1 3/4” and fold. Cut metallic champagne cardstock to the following sizes: 1 1/4 x 5”, 7 1/2 x 5” scored at 3 3/4” and x2 3 3/4 x 4 1/2”. Cut Luxe Gold Cardstock to the following sizes: 1 5/8 x 5 3/8”, 4 1/8 x 5 3/8” 4 1/8 x 5 3/8” and x2 3 1/2 x 4 3/4”.

Adhere the 1 1/4 x 5” champagne cardstock to the 1 5/8 x 5 3/8” gold cardstock and adhere to the card front. Using an embossing folder, emboss one of the 3 3/4 x 4 1/2” pieces of champagne cardstock, adhere to 3 1/2 x 4 3/4” gold cardstock and then adhere to card front. Adhere 4 1/8 x 5 3/8” gold cardstock to inside of card. Stamp ‘Hope your day is as special as you are’ on the inside of the folded 7 1/2 x 5” champagne cardstock using VersaMark ink, sprinkle with gold embossing powder and heat set using Heat It tool. Adhere onto 4 1/8 x 5 3/8” gold cardstock. Stamp ‘Happy Birthday to You’ on the other 3 3/4 x 4 1/2” champagne cardstock using VersaMark ink, sprinkle with gold embossing powder and heat set using Heat It tool. Adhere to the other 3 1/2 x 4 3/4” gold cardstock and adhere to the front of the 3 3/4 x 5” folded card.

Stamp the spray from the Delightful Daffodil Spray Cling Stamp Set on watercolor paper using VersaMark, sprinkle with gold embossing powder and heat set using Heat It tool. Instructions: Card size is 5 x 7”. Cut champagne metallic cardstock to 10 x 7”, score and fold at 5” on the long side. Cut Luxe Gold Cardstock to 4 3/4 x 6 3/4” and adhere to card base. Cut champagne metallic cardstock to 4 1/2 x 6 1/2” and adhere to Luxe Gold Cardstock. Cut Luxe Gold Cardstock to 3 3/4 x 4 3/4” and adhere to card front as shown using dimensional squares. Cut champagne metallic cardstock to 3 1/4 x 4 1/4” and adhere to Luxe Gold Cardstock. Cut Luxe Gold Cardstock to 4 7/8 x 6 7/8” and adhere to inside of card. Cut champagne metallic cardstock to 4 5/8 x 6 5/8”, stamp ‘Hope your day is as Special as you are’ sentiment using VersaMark ink, sprinkle with gold embossing powder and heat set using Heat It tool. Adhere to Luxe Gold Cardstock inside card.

Stamp the bouquet from Delightful Daffodil & Butterfly Cling Stamp Set on watercolor paper using VersaMark, sprinkle with gold embossing powder and heat set with Heat It tool. Color with Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers and diecut using coordinating die. Diecut a second time and adhere the layers together. Spritz with Sheer Shimmer Spray-Sparkle, shape using the Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit and adhere to the card front using dimensional squares.

Stamp the ‘Congratulations’ sentiment on champagne metallic cardstock using VersaMark ink, sprinkle with gold embossing powder and heat set with Heat It tool. Diecut using the long plain die from the Ticket and Tags Die set. Cut the banner edges using the smallest arrow die in the Arrows and Banner Die set. Diecut Luxe Gold Cardstock to size using the banner die from the Arrows and Banner Die. Adhere the sentiment to gold banner and adhere to the card front using dimensional squares.

Wow, I can't believe that we're in February already...wasn't it just Christmas?

February always makes me think of purple, maybe because amethyst is this month's birthstone and I have so many birthdays in February. In fact, my mother was born on February 3rd and I have a dear friend who also has a birthday today.  So, of course, I had to make a birthday card. lol.

Instructions: Card size is 6 x 6”. Score and fold 12 x 6” white cardstock at 6” on the long side. Cut Luxe Silver Cardstock to 5 7/8 x 5 7/8”, cut Dazzling Dahlia paper to 5 3/4 x 5 3/4”, adhere the two together and adhere to card front using dimensional tape. Cut Luxe Silver cardstock to 5 7/8 x 5 7/8”. Cut designer paper to 5 3/4 x 5 3/4”, stamp sentiment using Deep Purple, adhere to silver cardstock and adhere to inside of card.

Create a frame by cutting Ornate Ovals Die and the second largest die from Eyelet Oval & Basics Large Die from the Luxe Silver cardstock and adhere to card front. Cut Happy Birthday using Lattice Flourish Gateway Die from Luxe Silver cardstock and adhere to card front.

Stamp Small Wild Rose on Deluxe Flower Shaping paper using Deep Purple ink, color using Deep Purple and Cactus Flower inks, diecut using coordinating die and shape using Groove Golf Tools. Color Bridal Bouquet stamens using Cactus Flower ink, add crystal clear glitter to Rose Hips Stamen, pierce the centers of the petals using Groove Golf Tools, insert stamens and add petals making sure to offset them

Stamp Leafy Accents on Deluxe Flower Shaping Paper using Archival Olive ink, color using same ink, diecut using coordinating die and shape using shaping mold.

Sponge flower and leaves with dries clear adhesive and sprinkle with Rajni Chawla’s Crystal Clear glitter. Adhere flower and leaves to card front as shown.
