Birthday Fun Fold - Elizabeth Craft Designs

 Hi and Welcome!

My card today was created for a special friend for her birthday. The beautiful Lenten Rose designed by Liz Gaze and Els Van de Burgt is the star of this card. The stitched square dies also designed by those beautiful ladies helped me create this awesome  fun fold.

Score 9 x 6" white cardstock at 3" and fold to create card base. Diecut white cardstock using largest stitched square die. Cut in half, place back in the die to create the stitched edge on the cut side. Diecut Pretty Pastels cardstock using the second largest square. Cut to 2 1/2" and put back in the die to create the stitched edge. Adhere the two diecuts together and adhere to the 3" side of the card front. Diecut white cardstock using the third largest stitched square die and designer cardstock using the smallest square die. Adhere together and adhere to the left side of the front as shown.
Diecut, color and shape the florals, leaves and greenery and create a pretty arrangement on the card front.
Love these flowers! You can add a sentiment if you want but I decided not to on this particular card.
The funfold creates so much interest and is so easy.
Tie a triple loop bow using narrow sheer ribbon and tuck in behind the flowers and adhere with hot glue.
Using the largest and second largest dies, cut from white cardstock and designer cardstock, adhere together and adhere to the inside of the card.

Hi and Welcome!

Ahhh, young love...so beautiful! I created this card, using the Bohemian Rose Collection by Angelica Turner and the Beautiful Blooms Collection by Liz Gaze and Els Van de Burgt, for a very sweet young couple who exchanged their vows just a week and a half ago. We were so honored and grateful to be invited to share their special day. Wishing Elijah and Becca many years of love and happiness!

Create 5 x 7" white card base. Cut a 4 7/8 x 6 7/8" layer from the Garden Party cardstock, ink the edges and adhere to the card front. Cut a 4 1/4 x 6 1/4" layer from white cardstock. Cut a 4 x 6" layer from the designer cardstock, ink the edges and adhere the two layers together. Then adhere to the card front using dimensional tape. Diecut the large heart from Annette Green's Lace, Heart and Doily set. Print the computer generated names on white cardstock, diecut using the inside heart die, ink the edges of both hearts and adhere together. Adhere lace ribbon to the card front as shown, then adhere the hearts on the upper right of the card front using dimensional squares.

Diecut, color and shape the florals, leaves and greenery. Create a rose, a rose bud, a Lenten rose and four small dahlias. Adhere the blossoms, leaves and greenery on the card front using hot glue.
Computer generate the "Congratulations" sentiment on white cardstock and diecut using a die from the Pocket Page Inserts set.
Cut the designer paper 4 7/8 x 6 7/8", ink the edges and adhere to the inside right. Add your message on white cardstock and diecut using a stitched rectangle die (not shown here). Use the decorative Delicate Fancy Purse die to create a pocket on the left for your gift.

Roses for Her Birthday - Elizabeth Craft Designs

Hi and Welcome!!!

I really love making roses and each one I create is slightly different even though I follow the same process. That's what makes it so much fun to create them. The roses are from the Bohemian Rose Collection by Angelica Turner.

I created this card for my dauhghter's 56th birthday.

Create a 5 x 7" white gatefold card base. Cut 4 layers 2 3/8 x 6 7/8" from Spring Blossom cardstock, ink the edges using Archival Magenta Hue ink and adhere to the outside and inside flaps. Diecut the decorative handle 6x from white cardstock using the Decoratie Dimensional Basket die. Adhere two to each of the outside flaps and one to each of the inside flaps. Diecut the largest circle Circle 2x from white cardstock using the Stitched Squares and Rectangles die set. Adhere the circles together for stability. Use the next size circle to diecut from the designer cardstock and ink the edges. Adhere to the white circles then adhere to the left card flap.
Diecut, color and shape the roses, leaves and the fern & greener. You'll need to make three roses and and three filler flowers along with the buds.
Design a pretty floral arrangement on the circle and adhere using hot glue.
This is such a pretty funfold and so easy to make.
Cut the same designer paper 4 7/8 x 6 7/8", ink the edges and adhere to the inside of the card. Cut white cardstock 4 x 6", stamp the sentiment, use a decorative corner punch on the corners and adhere.

Thinking of You/Sympathy - Elizabeth Craft Designs

 Hi and welcome!

A dear friend passed away and this is the card I made to send to his grieving wife. I altered the beautiful rose from the Bohemian Rose Collection by Designs by Angelica Turner to create this flower and used the beautiful Ornamental Frame, also designed by Angelica, as the base.

Use the outside die from the Ornamental Frame to create the card base. Diecut another layer in white and a layer in a light purple. Adhere the layers together and adhere to the card base. Diecut the decorative layers in white and adhere. When you adhere the center diecuts, use dimensional squares.

Diecut, color and shape the rose and the greenery. I used three layers, two larger and one the next size smaller to create each flower and then added pearl stamens.
Adhere the flowers and greenery to the card front using hot glue. Stamp the sentiment on white cardstock using black ink, diecut using the smallest circle from the Rectangle Gift Box and adhere to the card front using dimensional squares.
Using the outside die from the Ornamental Frame, diecut light purple cardstock and adhere to the inside of the card. Add your message to 6 x 4" white cardstock, use a punch to create the ticket corners and adhere to the inside.

Update: Before I put the card in the mail, I decided to add a butterfly from my stash. I think that really finished it off.

Mother's Day Magnolia's - Elizabeth Craft Designs

Hi and Welcome!

Happy Belated Mother's Day!!!

I think the beautiful magnolia from The Spring Blossom Collection by Designs by Angelica Turner is the perfect flower for Mother's Day. I created this card for my daughter and I really love how it turned out.

Create a 6 x 6" white tent fold card base. Using the largest stitched square die, cut from white cardstock. Using the second largest stitched square die, cut again from white cardstock. Use a textured embossing folder to emboss the top of this diecut and use a floral embossing folder to emboss the bottom. Adhere the two squares together and adhere to the card front. Cu a piece of lace ribbon and adhere to separate the two embossed designs.
Diecut, color and shape the beautiful magnolia flowers and leaves. Adhere the magnolia petals together slightly offset, pierce the flower centers and insert pearl stamens. Top Tip: I like to spray the flowers with water before shaping to break the paper fibers. It helps to create a lovely, firm dimensional flower.

Adhere the flowers and leaves to the card front creating a pretty arrangement. Generate a sentiment on the computer, cut to 2 5/8 x 3/8", emboss using the same textured embossing folder and adhere using dimensional tape. Add some petite pearls for the finishing touch.
Using the second largest stitched square die, cut from pink cardstock and adhere to the inside of the card. Add your message on white cardstock, stamp the floral image from the Floral Branches & Sentiments stamp set on the bottom right and diecut using the smallest stitched square die.

 Hi and welcome!

The panicle hydrangea is such a beautiful flower and one of my absolute favorites. I loved creating this card using the Beautiful Blooms Collection designed by Els Van de burgt and Liz Gaze. The gorgeous cardstock designed by Angelica Turner creates a stunning base for the flowers.

Diecut second and third largest stitched tags from Evenening Rose and Pretty Pastels cardstock. Diecut the smallest Stitched Rectangle from the designer cardstock. Distress the edges of all. Adhere the tags to the card front using glue and dimensional dots.
Using Devid's beautiful stencil, create a background on the rectangle diecut with Silver Lining Lunar Paste and adhere to the card front using dimensional tape.
Diecut Panicle Hydrangea flowers, leaves, stem and bases from Soft Finish Cardstock. Wet the base and shape giving dimension and let dry. Color and shape the flowers and leaves. Adhere the flowers to the bases using glue. Color the stem and adhere the leaves to the stem and then adhere to the stitched rectangle. Add dimensional dots to the hydrangeas and adhere to the stems. Add pink prills to the flower centers. Diecut leaves from Fern & Greenery die set and add to smallest tag. Outline the butterfly on the paper on the other tag using Wink of Stella.

Stamp the sentiment on white cardstock measuring 2 1/4 x 5/8", distress the edges and adhere using dimensional dots and glue. Add satin cord to the tags.

Masculine Card - Elizabeth Craft Designs

Hi and welcome!

Sometimes masculine cards are hard to create, but the dies in the Beautiful Blooms Collection by Liz Gaze and Els Van de Burgt make it so easy.

Here's the first masculine card I made with this collection, Angelica Turner's Floral Greenery 3 and the gorgeous Backgrounds Volume 2 cardstock by Devid Roodenburg.

Create a 5 x 7" card base from blue cardstock. Using the 5 x 7" Stitched Rectangle die, cut from Backgrounds Volume 2 cardstock, ink the edges and adhere to base. Using the scalloped rectangle die from the Rectangle Gift Box Die, cut from blue cardstock. Cut the stitched inside die from the designer cardstock, ink the edges,  adhere the two together and adhere to card front using dimensional tape.
Diecut the scalloped circle from blue cardstock, stamp the sentiment on Bohemian Rose cardstock using Bloom Sentiments stamp set and diecut using the stitched circle. Adhere the two together and adhere to the center of the card front using dimensional dots.
Using Floral Greenery 3, diecut the leaves from green metallic cardstock and tuck under the circle. Make a string bow and adhere. It's such an easy peasy card to create and it looks fantastic.
