Instructions: Using the largest die from the Booklet Frames Die set, cut the decorative frame x2 from white cardstock. Before cutting the second frame adhere 1” double sided tape to the top of the white cardstock. After diecutting, score the second diecut just under where the tape ends. Sponge the diecut that doesn’t have the tape with Dries Clear adhesive and sprinkle with Rajni Chawla’s Crystal Clear glitter. When dry adhere the two diecuts together to create shaped card base.
Cut red paper from the Candy Cane Cottage paper collection using the largest die from theBooklet Basics Die set. Cut candy cane paper from the collection using the second largest Booklet Basics die and cut white cardstock using the third largest Booklet Basics Die. Emboss the white diecut using a snowflake embossing folder. Ink the edges of all the pages using Real Red ink, score down the center and shape to look like pages from a book. Add Dries Clear adhesive to the centers of the pages and adhere to the card base. Add dimensional squares in between pages for dimension. Diecut the bookmark from the red paper from the collection, sponge with Dries Clear adhesive and adhere to the center of the booklet. Diecut two more pieces from the collection, ink the edges and adhere to the inside of the card. Stamp a candy cane from the Season of Glee stamp set using Real Red ink and diecut using the coordinating die. Adhere to the center of the inside of the card.
Stamp the Christmas poinsettias on Real Red cardstock using VersaMark ink, cover with WOW Sparkling Snow Embossing Glitter and heat set using the Heat It Tool. Stamp the holly leaves on Garden Green cardstock using VersaMark ink, cover with WOW Sparkling Snow Embossing Glitter and heat set using the Heat It Tool. Place the poinsettias and holly leaves face down in the 3D Christmas Poinsettia Shaping Mold, spritz with water and run through the diecutting machine to shape. Use the Deluxe Flower Shaping kit to finish shaping. Sponge the poinsettias and holly leaves with dries clear adhesive and sprinkle with Rajni Chawla’s Crystal Clear. Add gold gala glitz to the flower centers.
Add Crystal Ultrafine Transparent Glitter to the embossed snowflakes on the front of the card and adhere the poinsettias and holly leaves as pictured. Cut the sentiment from the paper collection, ink the edges with Real Red ink, shape and adhere using dries clear adhesive and a dimensional square.
