Heartfelt Creations - Debuting the Decorative Gateway Dies

 Hi and Welcome!

Today we're debuting the gorgeous 5 x 7" Decorative Dies! 

They make card making so easy!





Heartfelt Creations Products Used:

Leafy Accents Die, HCD1-7193

Other Products: Diecutting Machine, Misti, White Cardstock,

Instructions: Card size is 5 x 7”. Using the Regal Lattice Gateway Die, cut two times from white cardstock. Add 1” double sided tape to the second one before diecutting. Score the second one 1” from the top and then adhere the two diecuts together to create shaped card base. Using the next two dies in the set, cut the lattice middle section, sponge with dries clear adhesive and sprinkle with Rajni Chawla’s crystal clear glitter. Adhere to the card front using dries clear adhesive. Diecut a piece of the designer paper using the plain die, ink the edges with deep purple ink, stamp the sentiment ‘Happy Birthday to You’ and adhere to the inside of the card. Stamp the ‘Happy Birthday’ on white cardstock using deep purple ink, diecut using the eyelet die from the Ticket and Tags Die set, trim, sponge with dries clear adhesive and sprinkle with Rajni Chawla’s crystal clear glitter. Shape the tag with fingers and adhere to the card base as shown using hot glue.

Stamp the Wild Roses on Deluxe Flower Shaping using deep purple ink, color with cactus flower and deep purple, diecut using the coordinating dies and shape using the groove golf tools. Color the Bridal Bouquet stamens using the cactus flower ink, cover the Rose Hip stamen with dries clear adhesive and dip in the crystal clear glitter. Using the groove golf tool, pierce holes in each petal and insert stamens. The large rose has the Rose Hip stamen as well as the Bridal Bouquet stamens and the small flowers only have the Bridal Bouquet stamens. Adhere three same size flowers together using hot glue to create each wild rose, making sure to offset them.

Stamp the leafy accents on Deluxe Flower Shaping Paper using olive archival ink, color with olive and leaf green inks, diecut and shape using the leafy accents mold.

Adhere the wild roses and the leaves to the card front using hot glue.

Other Products: Paper Trimmer, Diecutting Machine, White Cardstock, Black Caredstock, Stampin’ Blend Alcohol Markers, Distress Oxide Ink, Black Soot, Dimensional squares, Funnel Tray, Hot Glue Gun, Sheer Shimmer Craft Spray - Sparkle

Instructions: Card size is 8 1/2 x 5 1/2”. Score and fold 8 1/2 x 11” black cardstock at 5 1/2” on the long side to create tent fold card base. Cut pieces of the Countryside Cottage Paper collection, sheet 4A, to size 7 3/8 x 5 3/8”, ink the edges with Black Soot ink and adhere the piece the cottage to the inside of the card and the other piece to the card front.

Create a 5 x 5” shadow box. Score a 7 x 11 1/2” piece of black cardstock on the short side at 1/2”, 1”, 6” and 6 1/2”. Score the long side at 1/2”, 1”, 6” and 6 1/2”. Trim the right top and bottom score lines off up to the first vertical score line, using scissors to cut tabs. (See sample on my blog.) Use the Cut Mat Create Die to cut the aperture in the front of the box. Cut paper from the paper collection sheet 4A x2 4 7/8 x 4 7 /8”, x4 3/8 x 4 7/8” and ink the edges with Distress Oxide Black Soot ink. Use the Cut Mat Create 2A die to cut the aperture in one of the 4 7/8 x 4 7/8” pieces for the front of the shadow box. Adhere the papers to the box using dries clear adhesive prior to assembling. Cut one of the scenes from the 6 x 6” card panels from the paper collection and adhere to the inside the box. Finish folding at all score lines and adhere to form the shadow box. Adhere the shadow box to the right side of the card base using dries clear adhesive.

Stamp the cottage and shrubs from the Countryside Cottage Cling Stamp Set on white cardstock using Tuxedo Black ink, color using alcohol markers and diecut using coordinating dies. Stamp all the images from Countryside Autumn ‘scapes Cling Stamp Set on white cardstock using Tuxedo Black ink, color using alcohol markers and diecut using coordinating dies. Stamp the grass image x6 from the Cottage Summer 'scapes Cling Stamp Set on white cardstock using Tuxedo Black ink, color using alcohol markers and diecut using coordinating dies. Stamp the fence from Barnyard Accents Cling Stamp Set on white cardstock using Tuxedo Black ink, color using alcohol markers and diecut using coordinating dies. Cut an additional plain white diecut for all the images except the grass and leaves and adhere to the backs of the images for stability.

Adhere all images to the card front as shown using dimensional squares and hot glue.

Instructions: Card size is 8 1/2 x 6 1/2”. Cut two pieces of Deluxe Flower Shaping Paper 8 1/2 x 6 1/2” and 8 1/2 x 7”, score the larger piece at 6 1/2” on the longer side, fold and adhere the two pieces together to create a top fold hinge card. Cut yellow paper from the Countryside Cottage Paper Collection sheet 10B to 8 1/4 x 6 1/4” and ink the edges using Archival Buttercup ink. Cut the bottom right of sheet 1B to 8 x 6” and ink the edges using Leaf Green ink. Adhere the two designer papers together using dries clear adhesive, adhere to a craft foam sheet and then adhere to card front. Cut the Heart of Joy Decorative Die from Deluxe Flower Shaping Paper, color using Mustard Seed Distress Oxide Ink, sponge with dries clear adhesive, sprinkle with Crystal Ultrafine Transparent Glitter and adhere to the card front as pictured.

Stamp the Countryside Cottage using Archival Shadow Grey ink, color using Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers; Pale Grey, Mid Grey and Blue Grey. Color the windows using yellow. Diecut the cottage twice, once from the stamped image and one from plain cardstock using the Countryside Cottage Die. Diecut the stamped door, windows and stone chimney and then adhere all the pieces on the white cottage diecut, popping up the door, windows and chimney with dimensional tape. Spritz with sheer shimmer craft spray – sparkle.

Stamp the shrubs and topiaries using Archival Olive and color using Light Green and Mid Brown Zig Markers. Stamp the tree from the Cottage Tree 'scapes Cling Stamp Set using Coffee ink and color using Zig markers Beige, Brown and Deep Brown. Stamp the tree leaves in Archival Olive ink 5x and color using a combination of Leaf Green Archival ink and Zig Marker Light Green. From the Cottage Summer ‘scapes Cling Stamp Set, stamp the flowerpot using Shadow Grey and Olive Green and color using Blue Grey and Light Green Zig Markers. Stamp the little birdies using Shadow Grey and color using Flesh and Cornflower Blue markers. Stamp the grass using Olive and color using Light Green marker. Diecut all the images using the coordinating dies and lightly shape using the Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit. Spritz with sheer shimmer craft spray – sparkle.

Stamp the two smallest Tweet Cherry Blossoms on Deluxe Flower Shaping Paper using Archival Pink Peony, diecut using the coordinating die and shape using the 3D Cherry Blossom Shaping Mold. Pierce the flower centers using the Groove Golf Tool, add pink Assorted Pearl Stamens-Small to the smallest blossoms and the pink Assorted Pearl Stamens-Small along with white Pastel Pearl Stamens-Small to the larger blossoms.

Adhere the tree trunk to the card front over the tree image on the paper, cut apart three sets of the leaves and adhere to the tree branches. Adhere approximately 17 of the small cherry blossoms and the little birdies to the leaves using hot glue. Adhere the cottage over the cottage image on the paper, gluing the bottom of the cottage flat against the paper using dries clear adhesive and popping up the roof using dimensional tape. Adhere three of the small cherry blossoms to the flowerpot and adhere the flowerpot using dimensional tape to the left bottom of the card front. Adhere two sets of the tree leaves to the right bottom of the card front and adhere 7 of the larger Tweet Cherry Blossoms to the leaves.

Sponge the cherry blossoms, leaves, windows and card front randomly with dries clear adhesive and sprinkle with Crystal Ultrafine Transparent Glitter.

Heartfelt Creations - Floral Fillers

 Happy 2021!!!

Today's card is simple and elegant. I wish you could actually see the beautiful metallic paper. It's so pretty.

Other Products: Champagne Metallic Cardstock, Distress Oxide Inks – Peeled Paint, Faded Jeans, Worn Lipstick and Vintage Photo, VersaMark, WOW Metallic Gold Sparkle Embossing Glitter, Hot Glue Gun, Diecutting Machine, Misti, Sheer Shimmer Spritz – Sparkle, Ribbon, Dimensionals

Instructions: Card size is 4 1/4 x 5 1/2”. Score and fold 11 x 4 1/4” champagne metallic cardstock at 5 1/2” to create top folding card base. Cut designer paper from Floral Shoppe Paper Collection 4 x 5 1/4” 2x, ink the edges with vintage photo ink and adhere one to the inside of the card. Wrap ribbon around the left side of the other and adhere to the card front.

Using the Floral Shoppe Accents Cling Stamp Set and Floral Shoppe Fillers Cling Stamp Set, stamp the images on champagne metallic cardstock using VersaMark, sprinkle with Aged Ivory Embossing Enamel and heat set using the Heat It Craft Tool. Color using the daubers and Peeled Paint, Faded Jeans and Worn Lipstick inks. Let the ink dry for a few minutes, then buff the images to remove the ink from the embossing. Diecut with the coordinating dies, lightly shape using the Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit and spray with Sheer Shimmer Spritz – Sparkle. Create a bouquet.

Stamp the vase from Tulip Vase and Fillers Cling Stamp Set on champagne metallic cardstock using VersaMark ink. Sprinkle with WOW metallic Gold Sparkle Embossing Glitter and heat set using the Heat It Craft Tool. Diecut using the coordinating die.

Adhere the bouquet to the card front using hot glue. Adhere the vase using dimensionals and hot glue.
