Heartfelt Creations - Wild Rose Chic

Hi and welcome!

Yay! Today is the last day of March and tomorrow we usher in April and the first full month of spring. I'm looking forward to warmer weather, the trees turning green and all of the beautiful flowers that will be blooming!

My card today has some pretty wild roses. I hope you like it.

Instructions: Card size is 6 x 6”. Score and fold 12 x 6” Deluxe Flower Shaping Paper at 6” on the long side to create card base. Cut pink paper from the Delightful Daffodil Paper Collection Sheet 11B 5 7/8 x 5 7/8” and 5 x 5”, ink the edges using Pink Peony ink and distress using distressing tool. Cut yellow paper from the Delightful Daffodil Paper Collection Sheet 8B 5 3/4 x 5 3/4” and 4 3/4 x 4 34”, ink the edges using Buttercup ink and distress using distressing tool. Adhere the layers together using dries clear adhesive and adhere to card front.

Cut pink paper from the Delightful Daffodil Paper Collection Sheet 11B 5 7/8 x 5 7/8”, ink the edges using Pink Peony ink and distress using distressing tool. Cut yellow paper from the Delightful Daffodil Paper Collection Sheet 8B 5 x 5”, ink the edges using Buttercup ink and distress using distressing tool. Stamp the ‘On Your Special Day’ Sentiment on the yellow sheet using Olive ink, layer the papers and adhere to the inside of the card.

Stamp the large and small wild roses on Deluxe flower shaping paper using Pink Peony ink, color with Pink Peony and Buttercup inks, diecut using the coordinating dies and shape in the Small and Large 3D Wild Rose Shaping Molds. Use the Groove Golf tool to add further shaping. Layer three same size petals together to create the large flower and two same size petals to create the small flowers. Add dries clear adhesive to the Rose Hip stamens and dip in the Crystal Clear glitter. Color the Bridal Bouquet stamens using Pink Peony ink. Use the groove golf tool to make a hole in the centers of the flowers and pull the stamens through. Use the hot glue gun to secure the stamens. Sponge the flowers with dries clear glue and sprinkle with Rajni Chawla’s Crystal Clear glitter.

Stamp the Leafy Accents leaves on Deluxe Flower Shaping Paper using Archival Olive Ink. Color using Leaf Green and diecut using the coordinating dies. Add additional color to the leaf edges using Olive ink. Shape using the Leafy Accent Mold, sponge with dries clear glue and sprinkle with Rajni Chawla’s Crystal Clear glitter.

Adhere cheesecloth to the card front and adhere flowers, leaves and additional Rose Hip stamens over the cheesecloth using hot glue. Add lace ribbon to the top right and bottom left.

Heartfelt Creations - Hello Spring

 Hi and welcome!

Yay! Spring has finally officially arrived!

I just love this time of year when everything is new and beautiful. I can't wait to plant flowers and see lots of amazing color in my yard. 

My card today is a vey simple one with my favorites...butterflies. The butterfly from the Delightful Daffodil Collection is perfect on its own or with flowers. For this card, I've chosen to use it alone and I'm quite happy with the way it turned out.

Other Products: White Cardstock, Hot Glue Gun, Diecutting Machine, Ranger Distress Oxide Inks: Wilted Violet, Picked Raspberry and Peacock Feathers, WOW Embossing Glitter Sparkling Snow, ColorBox Pigment Ink Pad-Frost White

Instructions: Card size is 6 x 6”. Score and fold 11 1/2 x 5 3/4” Deluxe Flower Shaping Paper at 5 3/4” to create card base. Cut green paper from Spring garden Collection 2x one at 5 3/4 x 5 3/4” for the card front and one a 5 5/8 x 5 5/8” for the inside of card. Using Stairway Gardens outside die and Courtyard Elegance Dies, cut from white cardstock. Sponge the diecuts using dries clear adhesive and sprinkle with Rajni Chawla’s Crystal Clear glitter. Adhere to the card base using dries clear adhesive. Adhere the center diamond using Darice foam strips.

Stamp the butterflies from Delightful Daffodil & Butterfly Cling Stamp Set 3 times on Rajni Chawla’s Flowerite using ColorBox Frost White Ink. Sprinkle with WOW Sparkling Snow Embossing Glitter and heat set using the Heat It Tool. Color the butterflies on the backside using Distress Oxide Inks: Wilted Violet, Picked Raspberry and Peacock Feathers. Shape using the Groove Golf Tool. Diecut the butterfly overlay 3x from white cardstock. Sponge with dries clear adhesive and sprinkle with crystal clear glitter. Adhere the overlay to the butterflies using hot glue and then adhere to the card base.

Stamp the ‘On your Special Day’ sentiment on the flowerite vellum using ColorBox Frost White Ink. Sprinkle with WOW Sparkling Snow Embossing Glitter and heat set using the Heat It Tool. Color on the back using Wilted Violet Distress Oxide Ink and diecut using the eyelet die from the Ticket and Tags Die Set. Shape and adhere to the card front using hot glue.

Heartfelt Creations - Appreciative Hyacinth

 Hi and Welcome!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

My card today has nothing to do with St. Patrick's Day but I think it's a simple and pretty spring card. I love this new collection. 




Heartfelt Creations Products:

Other Products: White Cardstock, Dimensional Tape, Hot Glue Gun, Diecutting Machine, Stampin Up Gorgeous Grape Cardstock, Stampin Up Ornate Floral Embossing Folder

Instructions: Card size is 4 1/4 x 5 1/2”. Score and fold 11 x 4 1/4” cardstock at 5 1/2” to create card base. Cut two pieces or gorgeous grape cardstock 4 1/8 x 5 3/8”. Adhere one piece to the inside of the card, emboss the other piece using the ornate floral embossing folder and adhere to the card front using dries clear adhesive. Diecut white cardstock using the Ornate Oval Die 2x. Sponge one with dries clear adhesive and sprinkle with Rajni Chawla’s Crystal Clear glitter. When dry adhere to the card front using dimensional tape. Stamp the ‘I appreciate you so much’ sentiment using Cactus flower ink on the other diecut and adhere to the inside of the card.

Stamp the Fragrant Hyacinth petals multiple times on Deluxe Flower Shaping Paper using Archival Majestic Violet ink, color using Archival Cactus Flower, diecut using coordinating die, ink the edges using Majestic Violet ink and shape in the shaping mold. Using the Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit, press the centers to add additional shaping. Sponge the edges with dries clear adhesive and dip the flowers in the crystal clear glitter. Add a drop of glue to the flower centers and add Lemon Chiffon Prills.

Stamp the small hyacinth flower using Majestic Violet and Olive inks. Color the leaves using Vivid Chartreuse and Leaf Green inks, diecut and ink the edges of the leaves using olive inks. Diecut the smallest oval from the Eyelet Oval & Basics Small Die set and adhere to the flower using dimensional dots for dimension. Adhere the flowers using hot glue. Adhere the flower to the center of the ornate oval.

Stamp the sentiment ‘Thank you so much!’ on white cardstock using Cactus Flower ink, diecut using the Ornamental Tags Die, sponge with dries clear adhesive, sprinkle with crystal clear glitter and adhere to the card front using dimensional tape.

Instructions: Card size is 6 x 6”. Fold and score 12’ x 6” Deluxe Flower Shaping paper at 6” to create card base. Cut Deluxe Flower Shaping Paper 6 x 6”. Trim two 6 x 6” panels from Spring Garden Paper collection, Sheet 10A to 5 7/8 x 5 7/8”, ink the edges and adhere one to the inside of the card and adhere the other to the 6 x 6” white cardstock leaving a small white border. Then adhere this panel to the card front using dimensional tape. Sponge the edges of the card front using dries clear adhesive and sprinkle with Rajni Chawla’s Crystal Clear Glitter.

Using the two largest dies from the Eyelet Circle & Basics Small Die set, cut a frame from white cardstock. Sponge the frame using dries clear adhesive and sprinkle with Rajni Chawla’s Crystal Clear Glitter. Adhere to the center of the card front.

Stamp the large and small Spring Daffodils using Archival Buttercup ink, color using the same ink, die cut using the coordinating dies and ink the edges using Archival Sunflower ink. Shape using the shaping molds and adhere the top petal together to form the circular top of the daffodil. Pierce all the petals using the Groove Golf Tool, insert stamens and adhere the petals together, offsetting the bottom petals, and adhere with hot glue. Sponge with dries clear adhesive and sprinkle with crystal clear glitter.

Stamp the daffodils from the Delightful Daffodil & Butterfly Cling Stamp set and the Delightful Daffodil & Hyacinth Cling Stamp set using Archival Olive ink, color using Archival Vivid Chartreuse, and Leaf Green inks. Diecut using the coordinating dies and add additional color to the edges using Olive ink. Cut the flowers off.

Stamp the Fragrant Hyacinth petals on Deluxe Flower Shaping Paper multiple times using Archival Majestic Violet ink, color using Archival Cactus Flower, diecut using coordinating die, ink the edges using Majestic Violet ink and shape in the shaping mold. Using the Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit, press the centers to add additional shaping. Sponge the edges with dries clear adhesive and dip the flowers in the crystal clear glitter. Add a drop of glue to the flower centers and add Lemon Chiffon Prills.

Stamp the largest hyacinth flowers using Majestic Violet and Olive inks. Color the leaves using Vivid Chartreuse and Leaf Green inks, diecut and ink the edges of the leaves using olive inks. Diecut the two smallest ovals from the Eyelet Oval & Basics Small Die set and adhere to the flower using dimensional dots for dimension. Adhere the flowers using hot glue.

Adhere the large hyacinth to the center of the circle frame at an angle using hot glue. Adhere the daffodils to the tops of the daffodil stems and adhere to the card base using hot glue.

Using green silk cord, tie two bows and adhere to the two daffodils.

Heartfelt Creations - Wild Roses for Mother's Day

Hi and welcome!

March is here and I'm dreaming of spring. I'm ready to put away the heavy coats and boots, but as I write this, I'm looking out at beautiful sunshine and freezing temperatures. A girl can dream, can't she?

Today's Mother's Day card is pretty in pink and a good substitution until we can see real flowers outside again.

Instructions: Card size is 5 x 7”. Using the two largest Teardrop Lattice Gateway Dies, cut from white cardstock. Using the two smallest dies from the same set, cut from white cardstock. Sponge both panels with dries clear adhesive and sprinkle with Rajni Chawla’s Crystal Clear glitter and set aside to dry. Using the largest Teardrop Lattice Gateway Die, cut the pink designer paper from the Wild Rose Paper Collection (the one with the stripes on the opposite side). Also cut the same pink paper using the plain inside die. Adhere the glittered diecuts to the pink designer papers. Adhere the smaller panel to the larger panel using dimensional dots. Adhere 1” double sided tape to the top of 5 x 7” white cardstock and diecut using the same largest die. Score just under the tape and adhere to the diecuts to create the card base. Diecut the striped side of the paper using the larges die, trim the top and adhere to the inside of the card. Stamp the ‘To the world you may be one person, but to me you are the world’ sentiment on white cardstock using vibrant fuchsia ink, diecut using the plain inside Teardrop Lattice Gateway die ink the edges and adhere to the inside of card.

Stamp the large and small wild roses on Deluxe flower shaping paper using Vibrant Fuchsia ink, color with the same ink and Vivid Chartreuse inks, diecut using the coordinating dies and shape in the Small and Large 3D Wild Rose Shaping Molds. Layer three same size petals together to create the large flower. Use the groove golf tool to make a hole in the center and pull the stamens through. Use the hot glue gun to secure the stamens. Adhere two of the same size petals together to create the smaller flowers, add dries clear adhesive to the flower centers and add Minnie Pearl Prills. Sponge the flowers with dries clear glue and sprinkle with Rajni Chawla’s Crystal Clear glitter.

Stamp the Leafy Accents leaves on Deluxe Flower Shaping Paper using Archival Olive Ink. Color using the same color and Bamboo Leaves ink and diecut using the coordinating dies. Shape using the Leafy Accent Mold, sponge with dries clear glue and sprinkle with Rajni Chawla’s Crystal Clear glitter.

Adhere the flowers and leaves to the card front using hot glue.

Stamp the ‘Happy Mother’s Day’ sentiment on white cardstock using vibrant fuchsia ink, diecut using the long eyelet die from the Ticket and Tags Die set, sponge with dries clear adhesive and sprinkle with Crystal Clear glitter. Shape and, when dry, adhere to the center of the card front using hot glue.
