Happy Easter - Elizabeth Craft Designs

 Hi and Happy Easter (a week late lol)!

I meant to post these cards on Easter Sunday but I forgot to take photos of them before I packed them up and gave them to my grandchildren. The kids are all grown now so I didn't have a problem stealing them back after they opened them lol. I got my pictures so now I can return them.

I had so much fun creating these cards using the adorable Bunny and the Garden Edges and Fence dies by Joset Van de Burgt along with the gorgeous Tulip dies by Angelica Turner. The inspiration came from Liz Gaze.

Create a 5 x 7" white card base. Cut a blue layer 4 7/8 x 6 7/8" and adhere to the card front. Cut clouds from 4 7/8 x approximately 2" white cardstock and stamp the sentiment in the left corner. Cut the bushes from green cardstock 4 7/8 x approximately 3 3/4" and dry emboss the clouds and bushes using a textured embossing folder and adhere to the top and bottom of the card front. Diecut the fence from white cardstock and the hinges from black metallic cardstock and adhere over the bushes. Diecut the two layers of grass from green cardstock, ink the edges and adhere together using just a thin line of glue at the bottom. (You want to be able to tuck in the bunny and the eggs.) 

Cut blue cardstock 4 7/8 x 6 7/8" and adhere to th inside. add a 4 x 6" white layer for your message.

Diecut, color and assemble the bunny and adhere using dimensional dots. Diecut the eggs from colored cardstock and tuck in behind the grass.

For the girl bunny, diecut, color and shape the basket, tulips and leaves and add the tulips to the basket and one to her ear. 

For the boy bunnies, diecut the carrots and adhere.

Dahlia Gift Box - Elizabeth Craft Designs

 Hi and welcome to my blog.

The Beautiful Blooms Collection designed by Liz Gaze and Els Van de Burgt is bringing spring here where it's a bit chilly. The pretty Garden Party cardstock created by Angelica Turner definitely says spring.

My creation today is a beautiful gift box adorned with the gorgeous dahlia flowers.

Using the Rectangle Gift Box dies and Garden Party cardstock, create the beautiful box and add the layers on top.

Diecut, color and shape the dahlia petals and the leaves. 

Layer the petals and create two full flowers and one bud. Adhere the flowers and leaves to the top of the box using hot glue.

Diecut the tag, ink the edges and stamp the sentiment. Add ribbon and adhere as shown using dimensional dots. 

It's the perfect size box to add a card, some candy, a gift or a tag.

I decided to add a tag that I created using the largest tag die from the Stitched Rectangles and Labels die set. I diecut it once from the designer paper, inked the edges, and once from white cardstock and adhered them together. This way, a message can be stamped or written on the white side. 

Add a reinforcement at the hole and a pretty ribbon will finish off the tag. 

Diecut, color and shape the Lenten Rose and the leaves from the Fern and Greenery set. Add prills to the flower center and adhere to the tag.

Framed Hydrangea - Elizabeth Craft Designs

Woohoo! The Beautiful Blooms Collection designed by Liz Gaze and Els Van de Burgt is  finally here!!!!!

There are so many beautiful blooms in this collection but I had to create the hydrangea first because it's one of my absolutely favorite flowers. I decided to keep the hydrangea as the focal point and beautifully frame it using the new Stitched Rectangles die and placing it on a lace background. I love how it turned out and I hope you do, too.

Create a 5 x 7" white card base. Using the largest and smallest rectangles from the Stitched Rectangle and Labels die set, diecut a frame from Garden Party cardstock. Then diecut the largest and second smallest rectangles from the same cardstock. Lastly, diecut the largest and second largest rectangles from the same cardstock. Ink the edges and adhere together using dimensional tape.  

Cut white cardstock 4 3/4 x 6 3/4", cover with white lace and adhere the frame to the lace. Then adhere to the card front.

Diecut the hydrangea flowers from Soft Finish Cardstock, color using Deep purple and Manganese Blue Archival ink and shape. Cut the hydrangea base three time from soft finish cardstock. Trim two of them making each a little smaller than the other, color them blue and adhere them together using dimensional dots. Add the colored and shaped flowers to the base, creating a very dimensional and beautiful hydrangea. Diecut the stem and leaves, color shape and adhere all together. Adhere a single prill to the center of each little flower.

Adhere the gorgeous hydrangea to the lace background using glue and dimensional dots. Stamp the sentiment from Bloom Sentiments Stamp Set on white cardstock using Deep Purple ink. Diecut using the dove tail stitched die from the Rectangle Box Gift Set.Adhere to the card front using dimensional tape.

Using the Stitched Rectangles and Labels die set, cut a rectangle from the designer cardstock. Stamp the sentiment in the center using Memento Tuxedo Black ink and adhere to the inside of the card.

Chicadee Birthday - Elizabeth Craft Designs

I'm so sorry I've been absent for a couple of weeks. I was dealing with some health issues and was hospitalized for a while. All is good now and I'm happy to be crafting again. 

I missed a few birthdays and I created this card for one of those birthdays. The Spring Blossom Collection by Angelica Turner is one if my absolute favorites.

Create a 7 x 5" tent fold white card base. Cut 6 7/8 x 4 7/8" piece from the Spring Blossom cardstock, ink the edges using Distress Oxide Black Soot ink. 

Cut white cardstock 6 x 4" and cut a panel from the designer paper 4 x 6" images. Trim the panel to 5 7/8 x 3 7/8", ink the edges and adhere to the white cardstock.  

Adhere the panel to the center of the card front using dimensional tape.

Diecut, color and shape the Magnolia flowers, the Cherry Blossoms and the leaves. Add stamens to the beautiful flowers and adhere to the card front as shown, using hot glue.

Stamp the sentiment on White cardstock using Archival Watering Can ink, fussy cut and adhere using dimensional dots. To finish off the card front, randomly dab with glue and sprinkle with chunky glitter. Brush the flowers with glue and sprinkle with the chunky glitter to add lots of pretty sparkle. I do love sparkle!

Cut a piece of designer paper 6 7/8 x 4 7/8", ink the edges and adhere to the inside of the card. Stamp the image from the Floral Branches and Sentiments stamp set using Archival Watering Can ink and adhere to the designer paper.

Western Themed Bridal Shower - Elizabeth Craft Designs

 Hi friends! Welcome!

I attended an amazing Western themed bridal shower and this is the card I created for the beautiful bride-to-be using the fabulous Bohemian Rose Collection by Angelica Turner. I tried to stay within the bride's color palette and this collection was perfect for that. I just added a little pink that wasn't in her neutral color scheme. (After all, a little pink never hurt anyone lol.)

Create a 5 x 7" cream card base. Cut the brown Bohemian Rose cardstock 5 x 7" and a lighter designer cardstock 4 3/4" x 6 3/4". Distress the edges and adhere the layers together using glue, then adhere to the card front using dimensional tape. Cut a piece of lace and adhere to the center of the card front. I then adhered the boots from my stash using dimensonal dots. 

Cut the roses and companion flowers from Soft Finish Cardstock, color using a combination of Pink Peony and Pebble Beach inks. Diecut the greenery and the rose leaves from the Bohemian Rose cardstock, add touches of pink to some of the leaves and shape. 

Adhere the flowers and leaves to the card front using hot glue. Stamp the sentiment on a piece of designer cardstock, distress the edges and adhere to the bottom left. Add pearls as shown to finish the card front. 

Cut the brown Bohemian Rose Cardstock 4 7/8 x 6 7/8", distress the edges and adhere to the inside of the card. Cut cream cardstock for your personal message 4 x 6", distress the edges and adhere to the brown cardstock.

Easter Easel - Elizabeth Craft Designs

Hi and Welcome!!! 

Spring is on the way and Easter is almost here so I figured I'd better get started on my Easter cards. This is a pretty easel card using the beautiful Ornamental Frame along with the Florals 31, both designed by Angelica Turner. 

Using the largest Ornamental Frame Die, cut a card base. Use the same die and cut from white cardstock once and Pretty Pastels cardstock 2x. Adhere one of the designer papers to the white cardstock. Fold the top flap of the card base in half and adhere the layers to the bottom half of the fold to create an easel card. Adhere the other designer cardstock diecut to the inside of the card.

Using the decorative dies from the same set, cut 2x from white cardstock. 

Adhere to the outside and inside of the card base as shown. 

Diecut, color and shape the flowers and leaves from the Florals 31die set and adhere to the card base using hot glue. 

Stamp the sentiment on a 1 x 2" piece of white cardstock. Using a ticket punch, punch the corners and then ink with Cactus Flower ink. Adhere as shown using dimensional tape to create the stop for the easel. To finish the card add some pretty glittery gems.

Ruffled Carnations - Elizabeth Craft Designs

 High and Welcome!

Carnations are one of my favorite flowers and I had so much fun ruffling the Bohemian Rose by Angelica Turner to make it look like a ruffled carnation. I love how this card turned out.

Create a  6 x 6" white card base. Cut a 5 7/8 X 5 7/8" gold layer and a 5 3/4 x 5 3/4" Bohemian Rose layer. Ink the edges of the designer cardstock, adhere the two layers together and adhere to the card front using dimensional tape. 

Using the Autumn Fancy Corners die set, cut 2 x from white and gold cardstock. Adhere the white diecuts to the gold diecuts slightly offset to create a gold shadow. Adhere to the card front as shown.

Cut gold cardstock 5 7/8 x 5 7/8" and Bohemian Rose cardstock 5 3/4 x 5 3/4", ink the edges of the designer paper, adhere together and adhere to the inside of the card. 

Diecut, color and shape the Rose flower and the leaves. Wet the flowers, crinkle and layer together. I used two each of three graduated sizes to create each ruffled carnation. Adhere the flowers and leaves to the card front using hot glue.  

Stamp the sentiment on white cardstock, fussy cut and adhere to the card front using dimensional dots.
