Heartfelt Creations - Country Christmas

Hi and welcome!

It's hot outside but today I have a card to cool you down. 
There's nothing like Christmas in the Country.

Instructions: Card size is 6 x 6”. Score and fold 12 x 6” white cardstock at 6” on the long side to create top fold card base. Trim 6 x 6” green panel from Snowy Pines Paper Collection sheet 9A to 5 3/4 x 5 3/4” and ink the edges with Archival Olive ink. Cut red designer paper, sheet 11B, to 5 1/2 x 5 1/2” and ink the edges with Real Red ink. Adhere the two together with dries clear adhesive and adhere to card base using dimensional tape. Cut red designer paper from sheet 11B to 5 7/8 x 5 7/8”, ink the edges with Real Red ink and adhere to inside of card. Cut ‘Believe in the magic of Christmas’ panel from sheet 4A, ink the edges with Archival Olive ink, adhere to a white mat layer cut to 3 1/2 x 4 1/2” and adhere to the inside of the card.

Stamp the image from the Snowy Pines Cabin Cling Stamp Set on watercolor paper using Memento London Fog ink 2x. Color only the outside image using zig markers, Mid green, Mid Brown, Gray and Orange markers. Diecut using the outside and inside dies from the Snowy Pines Cabin Die. Spray with Shimmer Spritz – Sparkle. Color the cabin, trees, birds, fence and mailbox on the second image using Zig markers Mid Brown, Mid Green, Carmine Red and Gray. Brush images with Wink of Stella – Clear. Diecut using the outer Snowy Pines Cabin die and the landscape die from the same set. Diecut the outer die again from Seaside Spray cardstock. Lightly sponge the Seaside Spray diecut with ColorBox Frost White ink.  

Add snow to the cabin images and the blue background diecut using the Marvy Snow Marker, sprinkle with Rajni Chawla’s frosting powder and heat set using the Heat It Craft Tool. Add dimensionals to the backs of the cabins and trees then adhere all the layers together using dries clear adhesive. Adhere to the card front using dimensional tape.

Cut the ‘Merry Christmas’ from the paper collection sheet 4A, ink the edges with Archival Olive ink, back with white cardstock cut to the same size and adhere to the top center of the card front using dimensional foam tape.

Heartfelt Creations - Debuting the Snowy Pines Collection

Instructions: Card size is 4 x 5 1/2”. Score and fold 6 x 4 1/2” white cardstock at 3” on the long side. Using the largest plain die from the Eyelet Oval & Basics Large Die set, cut the card base making sure that the oval die is just over the top of the card. Using the largest plain die from the Eyelet Oval and Basics Small Die set, cut an oval from Snowy Pines Paper Collection, sheet 11A, ink the edges with Archival Olive ink and adhere to the inside of the card using dries clear adhesive.

Diecut the largest Ornate Ovals Die from white cardstock, sponge the edges with dries clear adhesive, sprinkle with Rajni Chawla’s Frosting Powder and heat set using the Heat It Craft Tool. Adhere to the card base. 

Stamp the Snowy Pine Cardinals Cling Stamp Set on Seaside Spray cardstock using Seaside Spray ink. Diecut using Snowy Pine Cardinals Oval Die, ink the edges and lightly sponge the diecut with Frost White ink. Use the Marvy snow marker to create snowflakes, sprinkle with frosting powder and heat set. Adhere to the Ornate Ovals diecut using Dimensonal dots. 

Stamp the cardinal image on watercolor cardstock using Memento London Fog ink. Color using Zig markers, Carmine Red, Wine Red, Black, Gray, Mid Green, Mid Brown and Orange. Spray with Shimmer Spritz – Sparkle and let dry. Use the Marvy Snow Marker on the snow, sprinkle with frosting powder and heat set. Diecut using the detailed Snowy Pine Cardinals Die and lightly shape using the Deluxe Flower Shaping kit. Adhere to the card base over the previously stamped image using dimensional dots.      

Add Nuvo Crystal Drops – Ebony Black to the cardinals eyes.

Instructions: Card size is 4 1/4 x 5 1/2”. This fancy fold card was inspired by a card found here. Cut pink cardstock 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″, score and fold at 2 1/8″ and 4 1/4″. Cut a piece of white cardstock 1 7/8 x 5 1/4”, stamp the flower image from the Welcome Baby Cling Stamp set randomly over the strip and ink the edges using Archival Tea Rose ink. Adhere to the card base as shown. Cut white cardstock 4” x 5 1/4”, ink the edges, stamp the sentiment from Special Birthday Sentiments Cling Stamp Set and a flower from Welcome Baby Cling Stamp set using Archival Tea Rose ink and adhere to inside of card. Punch a hole in the card base to insert ribbon. (See link photo.) A craft knife can be used in place of the punch. Cut a piece of ribbon 20”, adhere to the stamped strip on the front of the card and thread through the holes. 

Cut Luxe Gold Cardstock 3 3/8 x 4 7/8” and white cardstock 3 1/4 x 4 7/8”. Using any embossing folder, emboss the white cardstock and adhere to the gold cardstock. Adhere to the card front using dries clear adhesive as shown. 

Stamp the sentiment from Special Birthday Sentiments Cling Stamp Set on white cardstock using Special Birthday Sentiments Cling Stamp Set and diecut using the third smallest Diamond Basics Die. Diecut the third smallest Eyelet Diamond Die from Luxe Gold Cardstock, Adhere the diecuts together and adhere to card front using Dimensional squares.  

Stamp the floral images from the Welcome Baby Cling Stamp Set on white cardstock using Memento London Fog Ink. Color using markers, diecut using coordinating dies, spray with Sheer Shimmer Spritz – Sparkle, lightly shape using Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit and adhere to the card front using dimensional dots. 

Tie the card closed using the ribbon.

Instructions: Card size is 5 x 7”. Score and fold 10 x 7” white cardstock at 5” on the long side to create top fold card base. Diecut the edge using decorative Fleur Border Basics Die. Cut pink paper with the hearts (Sheet 9B) from the Tender Moments Paper Collection 4 7/8 x 6 7/8” for the inside of the card and 4 x 6 7/8” for the front of the card. Use the plain edge Fleur Border Basics Die to cut the front. Edge both pieces using Magenta Hue ink.

Using the largest eyelet heart and the largest plain heart from the Eyelet Hearts Die set, diecut a frame from white cardstock. Sponge heart frame and decorative card edge with dries clear adhesive and sprinkle with Rajni Chawla’s crystal Clear glitter.  

Stamp images from Baby's Friends Cling Stamp Set, Baby Girl and rose spray images from Welcome Baby Cling Stamp Set on watercolor paper using Memento London Fog ink. Color using Zig markers; pale green, light gray, pale pink and light blue and diecut using coordinating dies. Diecut one more time each and adhere the layers together. Spray with Sheer Shimmer Spritz – Sparkle.  

Adhere the pink designer paper to the inside of the card using dries clear adhesive. Adhere the designer paper to the front of the card using dimensional tape. Adhere Baby’s Friends to the inside of the glittered heart frame using hot glue. Adhere rose sprays to the frame and to the top left of the card using dimensional dots and hot glue.

Adhere small rose to top of ‘Baby’. Adhere ‘Baby Girl’ images to the bottom left of the card using small dimensional dots. Stamp ‘Congratulations’ on diecut heart using Magenta Hue ink and adhere to inside of card.

Instructions: Card size is 5 x 7”. Score and fold 10 x 7” light blue cardstock at 5” on the long side to create side fold card base. Cut a 6 7/8 x 4 7/8” white pearl metallic mat layer and adhere to card base using dries clear adhesive. Cut blue mat layer 4 1/2 x 6 1/2”. Cut white pearl metallic layer 4 x 6”, dry emboss and adhere to blue mat layer using dries clear adhesive. Adhere to card base using dimensional tape. Cut white pearl metallic mat layer 4 7/8 x 6 7/8” and light blue mat layer 4 5/8 x 6 5/8” and adhere to inside of card.  

Stamp koala image from Baby's Friends Cling Stamp Set, baby boy and rose spray images from Welcome Baby Cling Stamp Set on watercolor paper using Memento London Fog ink. Color using Zig markers; pale green, haze blue, light gray, pale pink and yellow and diecut using coordinating dies. Diecut one more time each and adhere the layers together. Spray with Sheer Shimmer Spritz – Sparkle.  

Using the second, third and fourth largest dies from Diamond Basics Die set and the second largest die from the Eyelet Diamond Die set, diecut multi-level frame from white pearl metallic cardstock with a light blue backing. Adhere the koala bear to the blue backing and adhere the frame layers together using Darice foam strips. Adhere to card base. Stamp ‘welcome’ on the diamond shape previously diecut and adhere to inside of card. 

Lightly shape the rose sprays and adhere to the frame using dimensional dots and hot glue and to the inside of the card using dries clear adhesive. Adhere Baby Boy to card base using small dimensional dots and hot glue.

Instructions: Card Size is 5 x 7”. Score and fold 10 x 7” petal pink cardstock at 5”. Using the outer die from Royal Elegance Frames Die, place the die slightly over the folded edge and cut to create shaped card. Diecut a second time from the petal pink cardstock and adhere to the card base. Diecut the two largest decorative dies from the same set from white Deluxe Flower Shaping Paper. Diecut the plain oval from petal pink cardstock. Stamp ‘Happy Birthday’ on Deluxe Flower Shaping Paper using VersaMark, sprinkle with copper embossing powder and heat set using Heat It Tool. Adhere the largest decorative die to the card base using dries clear adhesive. Adhere the next decorative diecut using dimensional squares and the petal pink oval using dries clear adhesive. Adhere the sentiment diecut using dimensional squares.  

Stamp the large and small Wild Roses on Deluxe Flower Shaping paper using Archival pink peony ink. Color using pink peony and buttercup inks, diecut using coordinating dies and ink the edges using pink peony. Shape using 3D Wild Rose molds and the groove golf tool. Pierce a hole in the flower centers using the groove golf tool and add the stamens. Use three layers for the large flower and two layers for the small flower. Sponge with dries clear adhesive and sprinkle with crystal clear glitter.

Stamp the Leafy Accents leaves on Deluxe Flower Shaping paper using Bamboo Leaves ink, color with the same ink, diecut using coordinating dies and shape using the 3D flower shaping mold. Sponge with dries clear adhesive and sprinkle with Rajni Chawla’s crystal clear glitter.

Adhere the flowers and leaves to the card front using a hot glue gun.

Heartfelt Creations - Sweetheart Roses

I pray that you are all well and safe.

I'm so happy to welcome Glenda Brooks back to the Design Team and to also welcome Lynn Stanborough and Monika Jakubowska. I'm so honored to have the opportunity to work with these amazing designers!

I love how todays card turned out. The Sweetheart Border Die is one of my favorites and here I used it to create a pretty shaped card front and of course the Wild Roses are so beautiful to work with. I hope you like it too!

Instructions: Card size is 6 x 6”. Score and fold 12 x 6” white cardstock at 6” on the long side to create a top fold card base. Cut two pieces of Window Scenes Paper Collection to 5 7/8 x 5 7/8”, edge using Archival plum ink and adhere one to the inside of the card and one to the front of the card base. Using the outer die from the Sweetheart Borders die set, cut the bottom front of the card. 

Diecut the decorative Sweetheart Border from white cardstock. Sponge with dries clear glue and sprinkle with Rajni Chawla’s crystal clear glitter. When dry, adhere to the card front. 

Stamp the large and small Wild Roses on Deluxe Flower Shaping paper using Archival plum ink. Color using magenta Hue ink, diecut using coordinating dies and ink the edges using plum ink. Shape using 3D Wild Rose molds. Sponge with dries clear adhesive and sprinkle with crystal clear glitter. Adhere Power Outage Prills to the flower centers using dries clear adhesive. 

Stamp the Wild Rose leaves and the Leafy Accents leaves on Deluxe Flower Shaping paper using Bamboo Leaves ink, color with the same ink, diecut using coordinating dies and shape using the 3D flower shaping molds. Sponge with dries clear adhesive and sprinkle with crystal clear glitter.

Adhere the flowers and leaves to the card front using a hot glue gun.
