Birthday Blooms - Elizabeth Craft Designs

 Hi and Welcome!

I created this pretty birthday card for a special friend. She hasn't received it yet so I hope it arrives soon. I used the beautiful Bohemian Rose collection and the Spring Blossom collection, both designed by the very talented Angelica Turner.

Using the largest Ornamental Frame Die, cut a white card base. Use the same die to cut Bohemian Rose cardstock and adhere to the card front. Use a coordinating sheet of the same designer cardstock to cut the decorative Ornamental Frame, then adhere to the card front. Adhere the center section using dimensional tape.
Use the same largest frame die to cut a panel for the inside of the card.
Cut, color, stamp and shape the rose companion flower from the Bohemian Rose Collection along with the leaves. Add prills to the large flower centers and stamens to the small flowers. Adhere the flowers and leaves to the card front using hot glue creating a beautiful cluster.
Stamp the sentiment from the Garden Party Elements stamps on designer cardstock, dovetail the ends and adhere to the card front using dimensional tape.

Magnolia Birthday - Elizabeth Craft Designs

 Hi and Wecome!

We had quite the snow storm over the weekend with frigid temperatures so I'm hoping for an early spring.

I think my card today exudes spring with the beautiful magnolias and the pretty butterfly. The flowers are from the Spring Blossoms Collection by Angelica Turner and the butterfly is from Annette Green's Layered Butterfly.

Create a 5 x 7" cream card base. Cut cardstock from the Garden Party Collection 5 x 7" and 3 1/2 x 3 1/2" and distress the edges. Adhere the larger piece to the card front using dimensional tape.Cut lace ribbon and adhere to the top of the card front in a square shape. Adhere the smaller designer cardstock to center of that square using dimensional tape.
Cut another piece of the Garden Party cardstock 4 7/8 x 6 7/8", distress the edges and adhere to the inside of the card.
Diecut, color, shape and assemble the magnolia flowers from Soft Finish Cardstock and add pearl stamens to the flower centers. Adhere the flowers to the right, bottom of the square. Cut Color and shape the leaves then adhere around the flowers.
Diecut the butterfly from cream cardstock, shape and adhere to the top left of the square. Stamp the sentiment on cream cardstock and distress the edges. Adhere to the bottom center of the card front using dimensional tape. To finish off the card, add a few pearls to the card front.

Floral Heart - Elizabeth Craft Designs

 Hi and Welcome!

My card today was created using the Bohemian Rose Collection by Angelica Turner and Everyday Elements Lace, Heart and Doily by Annette Green. I haven't added a sentiment yet because I haven't decided what I will be using it for. It could be used for Valentine's Day, a wedding, an anniversary, an engagement...so many occasions.

Create a 5 x 7" white card base. Cut white cardstock 4 3/4 x 6 3/4" and add color to the edges using Archival Majetic Violet ink. Cut white cardstock 4 1/2 x 6 1/2" and dry emboss. Adhere the two layers together using glue, then adhere to the card front using dimensional tape.

Diecut the heart, color and adhere to the card front using dimensional dots. Diecut, color and shape the roses. Layer two larger and one smaller flower together and add pearl stamens to the centers. Diecut, color and shape the greenery. Adhere the flowers and greenery on the card front using hot glue to create a beautiful cluster.

The Rose flower is so versatile and can be shaped in many ways.
I will add a sentiment when I decide what occasion I will use the card for.
Cut white cardstock 4 3/4 x 6 3/4" and color using Majestic Violet ink. A sentiment layer will be added to the center later.

Sweet 16 Roses - Elizabeth Craft Designs

Hi and Welcome!

My granddaughter's BFF turned Sweet 16 this past weekend and I wanted to make her a special card. Her favorite color is blue and I love how the blue Bohemian Roses by Angelica Turner made this shabby chic card come together. BTW, she loved the card.

Create a 5 x 7" cream card base. Cut a blue panel from Evening Rose cardstock 5 x 7" and a lighter panel from the same collection 4 3/4 x 6 3/4". Distress all the edges, adhere the panels together and then to the card front. Add a piece of lace to the left side of the card.

Cover a small frame with VersaMark ink, sprinkle with Aged Ivory embossing powder, heat set and adhere to the top right. Add the numbers to the center of the frame.
Stamp the sentiment on the designer paper with VersaMark, cover with the embossing powder, heat set, distress the edges and adhere to the bottom right using dimensional tape.
Diecut, color and shape the roses, assemble and adhere to the card front using hot glue. Cut leaves from Fern and Greenery, heat emboss a few using Aged Ivory embossing powder, shape the greenery and add to the floral cluster. Add a few blue sequins to finish the card front.

Cut two panels from the Evening Rose cardstock 5 x 7" and 4 3/4 x 6 3/4", distress the edges and adhere to the inside of the card.

Masculine Birthday Card - Elizabeth Craft Designs

 Welcome!!!

This card is all about the gorgeous background. I used Autumn Harvest Cardstock by Angelica Turner along with the Journal Stencils 8 by Devid to create the incredible background for this birthday card.

Create a 5 x 7" Kraft card base. Cut a 4 3/4 x 6 3/4" black metallic panel and a 4 1/2 x 6 1/2" Autumn Harvest panel. Use the gear stencil and Refined Copper Lunar Paste to create the beautiful background. I used a Mini Ink Blending Tool to apply the Lunar Paste. The paste dries in seconds when using a heat tool.
Adhere the designer cardstock to the black metallic cardstock using glue. Then adhere to the card base using dimensional tape. Cut 4 3/4 x 6 3/4" black metallic cardstock and adhere to the inside of the card.
I quickly colored some MDF from my stash using chalk paste and adhered it to the card front.
Create a small pocket on the inside of the card to hold a gift card. This was one of the quickest cards I'ver ever created and I absolutely love how it turned out.
