Stitched Masculine Card - Elizabeth Craft Designs

 Hi and Welcome!

The Paper Flowers Stitched Dies by Els Van de Burgt and Liz Gaze are perfect for creating masculine cards. Devid Roodenburg's stencils and some Lunar Paste gave the card texture and light and Angelica Turner's beautiful cardstock created the perfect base.

Create a 5 x 7" sand card base. Using the largest Stitched Rectangle die, cut dark Bohemian Rose Cardstock. Using the the next size Stitched Rectangle die, cut  a lighter designer paper from the same collection and ink all the edges. Diecut the two larges tags from the Stitched Rectangles and Labels die set. Cut the largest one from the darker designer cardstock and the next one from the lighter designer cardstock. Using the stencils from Journal Stencils 11, add Golden Hour Solar Paste to both tags and the lighter Stitched Rectangle. Ink all the edges and adhere the two stitched rectangle diecut layers together and then adhere to the card front using dimensional tape.   

Diecut the tags again from sand cardstock and adhere to the decorative tags for strength and dimension. Add reinforcements and twine to the tags and adhere the largest tag to the card front using dimensional tape and adhere the smaller tag to the larger one using glue. 

Diecut the border from the darker designer cardstock and adhere behind the smaller tag and along the bottom of the card front. Using the smallest circle from the Stitched Squares and Circles die set, cut from the dark designer paper. Using the largest circle from the Rectangle Gift Box, cut from the lighter cardstock. Stamp the sentiment on the smaller circle, ink the edges of both, adhere together off center, and adhere to tags using dimensiinal tape. 

Using the second largest Stitched Rectangle, cut from the lighter designer cardstock, ink the edges and adhere to the inside. Using the smallest stitched rectangle, cut from white cardstock, add personal message and adhere to the inside.

Blackfoot Daisy Sunflowers - Elizabeth Craft Designs

 Hi and Welcome!

The Bloom Wildly Collection by Els Van de Burgt and Liz Gaze is so versatile. I created pretty sunflowers using the Blackfoot Daisy. 

Cut cream cardstock 7 1/2 x 7" and score at 2 1/2". Diecut 5 x 7" stitched rectangle from cream cardstock, cut in half and put back in the die to get the stitched edge on the cut side. Diecut designer cardstock using the second largest stitched rectangle, cut in half and again, put back in the die to get the stitched edge. Ink the edges of the designer paper, adhere to the larger cream layer and adhere to card front. Diecut cream cardstock using the third largest rectangle and designer cardstock using the smallest rectangle. Ink the edges of the designer cardstock, adhere the layers together and adhere to the left side only of the card front. 

The card stands beautifully!

Using the Blackfood Daisy die, cut Soft Finish Cardstock, color and shape to look like sunflowers. Adhere two of the same size together, offset, to create each flower. Spray with Imagine Sheer Shimmer Craft Spray - Sparkle. Add brown beads to the flower centers. Diecut, color and shape the greenery. Add cheesecloth and sisal to the card front, then create a pretty arrangement using hot glue to adhere. 

Stamp the butterfly on vellum using VersaMark, cover with Aged Ivory embossing powder and heat set. Diecut butterfly again from cream cardstock, adhere the two together and adhere to the top right of card front. Stamp sentiment on cream cardstock, diecut using the tag die from the Gift Box and adhere using dimensional tape.

Diecut the largest rectangle die from cream cardstock and the second largest from designer cardstock, ink the edges of the designer CS, adhere together and adhere to the inside of the card.

Using the smallest rectangle die, cut from cream cardstock, add your personal message and adhere to the inside.

Pink Columbine Birthday - Elizabeth Craft Designs

This is a birthday card I created for a friend using the beautiful Columbine flower from the Bloom Wildly Collection designed by Liz Gaze and Els Van de Burgt. I love how this flower comes together.

Create a 7 x 5" tent fold white card base. Diecut white cardstock using the largest Stitched Rectangle, ink all around the edges with Vibrant Fuchsia ink. Diecut white cardstock using the next largest die and dry emboss. Adhere layers together and adhere to card front.

Stamp, diecut, color and shape the Columbine flowers, leaves and buds. Assemble the flowers and add stamens to the flower centers. (I colored white stamens using Antique Linen Distress Oxide ink.) Adhere the flowers to the left side of the card front using hot glue.

Stamp the sentiment on white cardstock, diecut using a die from the Rectangle Gift Box, add a satin cord and adhere to the card front using dimensional dots. Stamp the butterfly on vellum using VersaMark ink, cover with WOW Sparkling Snow embossing powder and heat set. Cut again from white card stock, color and adhere the vellum to the solid. 

Adhere the butterfly to the sentiment tag.

Diecut second largest Stitched Rectangle die from white cardstock, ink the edges and adhere to the inside. Diecut smallest rectangle from white cardstock, add personal message and adhere to inside.

Pastel Poppies - Elizabeth Craft Designs

I love how the Wild Poppy, from the Bloom Wildly Collection designed by Liz Gaze and Els Van de Burgt, looks when it's colored with pastels.

Create a white 6 x 6" tent fold card base. Using the largest Stitched Square die, cut from white cardstock. Using the next size die, cut from Garden Party cardstock, ink the edges, adhere the two layers together and adhere to the card front. Diecut the Stitched Oval from white cardstock. Diecut the next smallest oval, dry emboss adhere layers together and adhere to right side of card front.

Diecut, color and shape the poppies leaves and greenery. Add prills to the flower centers and adhere all to the oval. 

Stamp the sentiment on vellum using VersaMark ink, cover with white embossing powder and heat set. Diecut using die from the Rectangle Gift Box and adhere to the bottom left. Add a couple of pretty, colorful gems.

Stamp the butterfly on vellum using VersaMark ink, cover wth WOW Sparkling Snow embossing powder and heat set. Diecut using the coordinating die, diecut again from white cardstock, color, shape and adhere to the top left.

Make a triple loop bow from sheer ribbon and adhere on the side of the flowers.

Using the second largest Stitched Square die, cut designer paper, ink the edges and adhere to the inside. Using the second smallest Stitched Oval die, cut from white cardstock. Using the smallest oval de, cut from designer paper, ink the edges, stamp the sentiment using VersaMark ink, cover with white embossing powder and heat set. Adhere the ovals together and adhere to the inside.

Bold Ruffled Poppies - Elizabeth Craft Designs

The wild poppies from the Bloom Wildly Collection designed by Els Van de Burgt and Liz Gaze for Elizabeth Craft Designs are just so beautiful. They really pop on my white and black background, don't they?. This is another flower that's very versatile and can be shaped and colored many different ways.

For this card, create a 5 x 7" black card base. Diecut largest Stitched Rectangle die from black cardstock and the next largest rectangle from white cardstock, dry emboss the white layer, adhere the two layers together and adhere to the card front. Using the scalloped die from the Rectangle Gift Box, cut from black cardstock. Use the inside die to cut from white cardstock, emboss, adhere the two diecuts together then adhere to the card front using dimensional tape. 

Diecut, stamp, color and shape the poppies, buds and leaves. Assemble the poppies and create a pretty arrangement on the card front using hot glue. 

Stamp the butterfly on vellum, cover with WOW Sparkllng Snow embossing powder and heat set. Diecut using the coordinating die. Diecut again from white cardstock, adhere the layers together and adhere to the top right of the scalloped layer. Stamp the sentiment using black ink, cut using an oval punch and adhere to the bottom center. Make a triple loop bow from black satin ribbon and adhere under the poppies. 

Now we're ready to decorate the inside.

Using the second largest Stitched Rectangle die, cut from white cardstock and stamp the sentiment in the middle. Adhere some white diecut greenery for interest and adhere to the inside of the card.

Pretty Wildflowers - Elizabeth Craft Designs

Here's a fun side step card using the beautiful Bloom Wildly collection designed by Els Van de Burgt and Liz Gaze. I love these wildflowers and the sweet sparrow. The Blackfoot Daisy is so much fun to create with and it's so versatile. 

Create a white 7 x 5" side step card base. Cut dark blue cardstock from the Evening Rose Collection 2 7/8 x 4 7/8", 3 7/8 x 2 3/8", 3 7/8 x 1 3/8" and 3 7/8 x 7/8". Then cut light blue designer cardstock from the same collection 2 3/4 x 4 3/4", 3 3/4 x 2 1/4", 3 3/4 x 1 1/4" and 3 3/4 x 3/4". Ink all the edges and adhere the layers together. Stamp the sentiment on the smallest layer and then adhere all the layers to the front and steps of the card base.

Diecut, color and shape 3 Blackfoot Daisies and the leaves, assemble, add prills to the flower centers and adhere to the left side of the card. 

Diecut the smallest Stitched Oval from white cardstock and light blue designer cardstock, ink the edges, adhere together and then glue to the top of the tallest step. Diecut and color the sparrow, branch and leaves and adhere to the oval as shown using glue and a dimensional dot. Diecut, color and shape the Floral Greenery and adhere to the center step. Diecut, color and shape the tiny flowers, add prills to the centers and add to the bottom step. 

I love the dimension of this card. Note: I added a couple of strips of grass from the Garden Edges and Fence Die set over the stems of the greenery.

Purple Columbine - Elizabeth Craft Designs

Yay! Today is the release day of the amazing Bloom Wildly Collection designed by Els Van de burgt and Liz Gaze. I love all of these gorgeous wild flowers and the first one I used is the Columbine. This is such a bold and beautiful flower and really made my card pop. The new stitched oval dies enabled me to create a fantastic frame for my flowers. 

Create a 5 x 7" white card base. Diecut white cardstock using the largest stitched rectangle. Diecut Evening Rose cardstock using the next size stitched rectangle, ink the edges and adhere to the card base. Create a frame using the new Stitched Oval dies - diecut white cardstock using the 3rd largest stitched oval and the 2nd smallest stitched oval dies, then cut white cardstock using the 3rd largest and 3rd smallest dies. Finally, diecut white cardstock using the 3rd largest and 4th largest dies. Adhere the diecuts together using dimensional tape to create the frame and then adhere to the card front using dimensional tape.  

Stamp, diecut, color and shape the Columbine flowers, buds and leaves. Assemble the flowers and adhere around the bottom and sides of the oval frame. 

Stamp the butterfly on vellum using VersaMark ink, cover with WOW Sparkling Snow Embossing Powder, and heat set. Diecut using the coordinating die and color the back. Diecut again from white cardstock, color, adhere the vellum to the cardstock and shape. Adhere to top right. Stamp the sentiment on white cardstock, diecut using the die from the Rectangle Gift box. Adhere to the left center of the frame using glue and dimensional dots.  

I love the dimension of this oval frame.

Diecut designer cardstock using the second largest stitched rectangle die, ink the edges, stamp the sentiment and adhere to the inside of the card. Diecut and color greenery and adhere as shown.
