Heartfelt Creations - Fuchsia Wild Roses

 Happy Almost New Year!!!

2021 is almost here and I, for one, am very grateful to see 2020 come to an end. I'm praying that 2021 will bring much love, happiness, prosperity and most of all good health to each and everyone of you!

May you be showered with many blessings!

The last card I created for 2020 is a simple, bright and cheerful one using the beautiful Wild Rose!

Instructions: Card size is 6 x 6”. Score and fold 12 x 6” Deluxe Flower Shaping Paper at 6”. Cut dark pink designer paper at 5 7/8 x 5 7/8” and light green designer paper at 5 3/4 x 5 3/4”. Ink the edges of both using Archival Vibrant Fuchsia ink and then distress using a distressing tool. Adhere the layers together using dries clear adhesive and then adhere to card base using dimensional tape. Cut one of the 6 x 6” panels from the paper collection to 5 7/8 x 5 7/8”, ink the edges, distress and adhere to the inside of the card.

Stamp the large and small wild roses on Deluxe flower shaping paper using Vibrant Fuchsia ink, color with the same ink and Vivid Chartreuse ink, diecut using the coordinating dies and shape in the Small and Large 3D Wild Rose Shaping Molds. Layer three same size petals together to create the large flower. Use the groove golf tool to make a hole in the center and pull the stamens through. Use the hot glue gun to secure the stamens. Adhere two of the same size petals together to create the smaller flowers, add dries clear adhesive to the flower centers and add Minnie Pearl Prills. Sponge the flowers with dries clear glue and sprinkle with Rajni Chawla’s Crystal Clear glitter.

Stamp the Leafy Accents leaves on Deluxe Flower Shaping Paper using Archival Olive Ink. Color using the same color and Bamboo Leaves ink and diecut using the coordinating dies. Shape using the Leafy Accent Mold, sponge with dries clear glue and sprinkle with Rajni Chawla’s Crystal Clear glitter.

Adhere the flowers and leaves to the card front using hot glue. Add satin cord bows.

Instructions: Finished card with poinsettias is 5 x 6 1/2””. To create card base, score and fold 5 x 7 1/2” white cardstock at 3 3/4”. Using the Large Floral Urn die, cut the shaped card base with the die just above the fold. Cut the Urn 2 more times from white cardstock and adhere the layers together. Then adhere to the card base using dries clear glue just around the bottom and sides. Leave the top open to create a pocket. Diecut the largest Eyelet Oval & Basics Small Die from Luxe Silver Cardstock. Add dries clear adhesive to the bottom half of the oval and insert into the open card base.

Stamp the Large Floral Urn on the Luxe Silver Cardstock using VersaMark, sprinkle with WOW Metallic Silver Sparkle Embossing Glitter and heat set using the Heat It Craft Tool. Diecut using the coordinating die and adhere to the card front. Diecut a second urn from the same silver cardstock, trim the top, and adhere to the inside of the card.

Stamp the Christmas Poinsettias on dark red metallic cardstock and the holly leaves on dark green metallic cardstock using VersaMark. Sprinkle with WOW Metallic Silver Sparkle Embossing Glitter and heat set using the Heat It Craft Tool. Diecut using the coordinating dies and shape in the 3D Christmas Poinsettia Shaping mold.

Adhere the poinsettias and holly leaves to the eyelet oval using hot glue. Add a few silver stamens here and there.

Heartfelt Creations - Classic Christmas Roses

 Hi and welcome!

Wow, Christmas is only a week away! I guess time just flies when you're having fun!

Today I'm sharing an elegant Christmas card that was so easy to put together.

Instructions: Card size is 5 x 7”. Cut two pieces of Deluxe Flower Shaping Paper 5 1/2 x 7 1/2”. Add 1/2” double sided tape to the top of one of these panels and die cut both using the largest Lattice Swirl Gateway Die. Score the diecut with the tape at 1/2” and adhere the two together to create card base. Using the same die, cut Snowy Pines paper, trim the top, ink the edges with Red Geranium ink and adhere to the inside of the card.

Diecut the decorative Lattice Swirl Gateway Die from Deluxe Flower Shaping Paper, sponge with dries clear adhesive and sprinkle with Crystal Ultrafine Transparent Glitter. When dry, adhere to the card front using dries clear adhesive.

Stamp the Classic Roses on Deluxe Flower Shaping Paper using Red Geranium ink, color using Red Geranium and Carnation Red Inks and diecut using the coordinating dies. Use three of the largest petals and 3 of the next size to create the large rose. Use three of the second size and three of the third size petals to create the smaller roses. Use two of the smallest petals for the small flowers and using the Groove Golf Tool, pierce a hole in the center, insert stamen and secure with hot glue. Sponge with dries clear adhesive and sprinkle with Rajni Chawla’s Crystal Clear glitter.

Stamp the Leafy Accents leaves on Deluxe Flower Shaping Paper using Archival Olive Ink. Color using the same color and Bamboo Leaves inks and diecut using the coordinating dies. Shape using the Leafy Accents Mold, sponge with dries clear glue and sprinkle with Rajni Chawla’s Crystal Clear glitter.

Stamp ‘Merry Christmas’ from the Festive Winterscapes Cling Stamp Set on Deluxe Flower Shaping Paper using Red Geranium ink, diecut using the banner die from the Arrows and Banner Die set, sponge with dries clear adhesive and sprinkle with Crystal Ultrafine Transparent Glitter.

Adhere the leaves, roses and sentiment to the card front as shown.

Instructions: Finished card with floral accents is 6 1/2 x 7”. To create card base, score and fold 5 x 7 1/2” champagne metallic cardstock at 3 3/4”. Using the Large Floral Urn die, cut the shaped card base with the die just above the fold. Cut the Urn 2 more times from champagne metallic cardstock and adhere the layers together. Then adhere to the card base using dries clear glue just around the bottom and sides. Leave the top open to create a pocket. Diecut the largest Eyelet Oval & Basics Small Die from champagne Metallic Cardstock. Add dries clear adhesive to the bottom half of the back of the oval and insert into the open card base.

Stamp the Large Floral Urn on the Floral Shoppe Paper Collection sheet 10B using VersaMark, sprinkle with Aged Ivory Embossing Enamel and heat set using the Heat It Craft Tool. Diecut using the coordinating die and adhere to the card front. Diecut a second urn from the same paper, trim the top, ink the edges with Faded jeans ink and adhere to the inside of the card.

Using the Floral Shoppe Accents Cling Stamp Set, Large Floral Urn Cling Stamp Set and Floral Shoppe Fillers Cling Stamp Set, stamp the images on champagne metallic cardstock using VersaMark, sprinkle with Aged Ivory Embossing Enamel and heat set using the Heat It Craft Tool. Color using the daubers and Peeled Paint, Faded Jeans, Worn Lipstick, Fossilized Amber and Picket Fence inks. Let the ink dry for a few minutes, then buff the images to remove the ink from the embossing. Diecut with the coordinating dies, lightly shape using the Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit and spray with Sheer Shimmer Spritz – Sparkle.

Adhere some cheesecloth to the front of the eyelet oval and start adhering the accents and fillers using hot glue.

Heartfelt Creations - Glistening Poinsettia Gateway

 Hi and Welcome!

December is here and Christmas is in the air!!! Everything is a little different this year but nothing can take away from the beauty, joy and blessings of this  wonderful holiday season!

My card this week is a Christmas card created with the Elegant Gateway dies, the gorgeous Luxe Silver Cardstock and the Christmas Poinsettias and Holly!

Instructions: Card size is 5 x 7”. Cut two pieces of white cardstock 5 1/2 x 7 1/2”. Add 1/2” double sided tape to the top of one of these panels and die cut both using the largest Elegant Swirl Gateway Die. Score the diecut with the tape at 1/2” and adhere the two together to create card base. Using the same die, cut Luxe Silver Cardstock 1x and adhere to the front of the card base.

Diecut the decorative Elegant Swirl Gateway Die 2x, once from white cardstock and once from Festive Winterscapes Paper Collection. Adhere the designer paper to the inside of the card. Using the Cut Mat Create 1A Die, cut sentiment from the designer paper sheet 4A. Ink the edges with Archival Cobalt ink and adhere to the inside. Sponge the Elegant Swirl Gateway diecut with dries clear adhesive and sprinkle with Rajni Chawla’s crystal clear glitter. When dry, adhere to card front. Using the same set, diecut the two smallest dies from silver cardstock and adhere as shown.

Stamp the ‘Merry Christmas’ sentiment from the Festive Winterscapes Cling Stamp Set on white cardstock using Cobalt ink, diecut to size using the banner die from the Arrows and Banner die set. Cut a mat silver banner, adhere the two together, shape and adhere to card base using hot glue.

Stamp the Christmas Poinsettias and Holly leaves on Pearl White Metallic Cardstock using VersaMark, sprinkle with WOW Metallic Silver Sparkle Embossing Glitter and heat set using the Heat It Tool. Add a little cobalt ink to the centers of the poinsettias and holly leaves, diecut and shape using the 3D Christmas Poinsettia Shaping Mold. Press down in the centers of the flowers using the stylus and adhere two flowers together making sure to offset them. Add glue to the centers of the flowers and add Blue Gala Glitz.

Adhere the poinsettias and holly to the card front using hot glue.
