Heartfelt Creations - Framed Christmas Poinsettias

Christmas in July continues with this pretty card created with 
beautiful papers, dies, Christmas Poinsettias and 
some Swarovski crystals to add 
a little sparkle.

Instructions: Card size is 5 x 7”. Score and fold 10” x 7” white cardstock at 5” to create top fold card base. Cut red designer paper, sheet 11B to 4 7/8 x 6 7/8” and ink the edges with real red ink. Cut green designer paper sheet 6B to 4 1/2 x 6 1/2” and ink the edges using archival ink olive. Adhere the two sheets together and adhere to card base using dimensional tape. Cut designer paper sheet 6A to 4 7/8 x 6 7/8”, ink with olive ink and adhere to inside of card. 

Cut Ornate Ovals Die from white cardstock, sponge with dries clear adhesive and sprinkle with Rajni Chawla’s crystal clear glitter. Adhere layers together using dimensional squares and adhere to card base using foam strips. Stamp ‘Merry Christmas’ on white cardstock using real red ink and diecut using smallest die from Eyelet Oval & Basics Large Die set. Adhere using dries clear adhesive.

Stamp Christmas Poinsettias on real red cardstock using VersaMark, sprinkle with WOW Sparkling Snow Embossing Glitter and heat set using Heat It Tool. Stamp holly leaves on garden green cardstock using VersaMark, sprinkle with WOW Sparkling Snow Embossing Glitter and heat set using Heat It Tool. Diecut using coordinating dies and shape using the 3D Christmas Poinsettia Shaping Mold. Adhere two of the poinsettia flowers together to create one flower, being sure to off-set. Adhere poinsettias and holly leaves to the card base using hot glue. Add dries clear adhesive to the poinsettia centers and add gold gala glitz.    

Tie three pieces of red satin cord into a bow and adhere with hot glue under the poinsettias. Add red Swarovski crystals to the right side of the card, top and bottom.

Golden Christmas Pine Cone

Here's another card created using the beautiful 
Snowy Pines Collection.

Instructions: Card size is 5 x 7”. Score and fold 10 x 7” white cardstock to create side fold card base. Cut two pieces of the Luxe Gold cardstock 4 7/8 x 6 7/8”. Cut white cardstock to 4 1/2 x 6 1/2” and dry emboss using any Christmas embossing folder. Adhere the embossed cardstock to one of the Luxe gold cardstock pieces. Then adhere to the card base using dimensional tape. Adhere the second piece of Luxe Gold Cardstock to the inside of the card. 

Diecut the largest and second largest Ornate Ovals Dies from Luxe Gold Cardstock and adhere to the card base using adhesive foam strips.  

Stamp the largest Festive Pine Cone on watercolor paper using VersaMark ink, sprinkle with WOW Gold Sparkle Embossing Glitter and heat set using the Heat It Tool. Color using the Zig markers and diecut using the coordinating die. Diecut 4 more times and adhere all the layers together using dries clear adhesive. Brush with Wink of Stella to add a beautiful shimmer, shape and adhere to the card base.

Stamp the ‘Merry Christmas’ sentiment on vellum using VersaMark ink, sprinkle with WOW Gold Sparkle Embossing Glitter and heat set using the Heat It Tool. Diecut using the banner die from the Arrows and Banner Die set. Trim, bend and adhere to the card front as pictured.

Heartfelt Creations - Country Christmas

Hi and welcome!

It's hot outside but today I have a card to cool you down. 
There's nothing like Christmas in the Country.

Instructions: Card size is 6 x 6”. Score and fold 12 x 6” white cardstock at 6” on the long side to create top fold card base. Trim 6 x 6” green panel from Snowy Pines Paper Collection sheet 9A to 5 3/4 x 5 3/4” and ink the edges with Archival Olive ink. Cut red designer paper, sheet 11B, to 5 1/2 x 5 1/2” and ink the edges with Real Red ink. Adhere the two together with dries clear adhesive and adhere to card base using dimensional tape. Cut red designer paper from sheet 11B to 5 7/8 x 5 7/8”, ink the edges with Real Red ink and adhere to inside of card. Cut ‘Believe in the magic of Christmas’ panel from sheet 4A, ink the edges with Archival Olive ink, adhere to a white mat layer cut to 3 1/2 x 4 1/2” and adhere to the inside of the card.

Stamp the image from the Snowy Pines Cabin Cling Stamp Set on watercolor paper using Memento London Fog ink 2x. Color only the outside image using zig markers, Mid green, Mid Brown, Gray and Orange markers. Diecut using the outside and inside dies from the Snowy Pines Cabin Die. Spray with Shimmer Spritz – Sparkle. Color the cabin, trees, birds, fence and mailbox on the second image using Zig markers Mid Brown, Mid Green, Carmine Red and Gray. Brush images with Wink of Stella – Clear. Diecut using the outer Snowy Pines Cabin die and the landscape die from the same set. Diecut the outer die again from Seaside Spray cardstock. Lightly sponge the Seaside Spray diecut with ColorBox Frost White ink.  

Add snow to the cabin images and the blue background diecut using the Marvy Snow Marker, sprinkle with Rajni Chawla’s frosting powder and heat set using the Heat It Craft Tool. Add dimensionals to the backs of the cabins and trees then adhere all the layers together using dries clear adhesive. Adhere to the card front using dimensional tape.

Cut the ‘Merry Christmas’ from the paper collection sheet 4A, ink the edges with Archival Olive ink, back with white cardstock cut to the same size and adhere to the top center of the card front using dimensional foam tape.

Instructions: Card size is 4 x 5 1/2”. Score and fold 6 x 4 1/2” white cardstock at 3” on the long side. Using the largest plain die from the Eyelet Oval & Basics Large Die set, cut the card base making sure that the oval die is just over the top of the card. Using the largest plain die from the Eyelet Oval and Basics Small Die set, cut an oval from Snowy Pines Paper Collection, sheet 11A, ink the edges with Archival Olive ink and adhere to the inside of the card using dries clear adhesive.

Diecut the largest Ornate Ovals Die from white cardstock, sponge the edges with dries clear adhesive, sprinkle with Rajni Chawla’s Frosting Powder and heat set using the Heat It Craft Tool. Adhere to the card base. 

Stamp the Snowy Pine Cardinals Cling Stamp Set on Seaside Spray cardstock using Seaside Spray ink. Diecut using Snowy Pine Cardinals Oval Die, ink the edges and lightly sponge the diecut with Frost White ink. Use the Marvy snow marker to create snowflakes, sprinkle with frosting powder and heat set. Adhere to the Ornate Ovals diecut using Dimensonal dots. 

Stamp the cardinal image on watercolor cardstock using Memento London Fog ink. Color using Zig markers, Carmine Red, Wine Red, Black, Gray, Mid Green, Mid Brown and Orange. Spray with Shimmer Spritz – Sparkle and let dry. Use the Marvy Snow Marker on the snow, sprinkle with frosting powder and heat set. Diecut using the detailed Snowy Pine Cardinals Die and lightly shape using the Deluxe Flower Shaping kit. Adhere to the card base over the previously stamped image using dimensional dots.      

Add Nuvo Crystal Drops – Ebony Black to the cardinals eyes.

Instructions: Card size is 4 1/4 x 5 1/2”. This fancy fold card was inspired by a card found here. Cut pink cardstock 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″, score and fold at 2 1/8″ and 4 1/4″. Cut a piece of white cardstock 1 7/8 x 5 1/4”, stamp the flower image from the Welcome Baby Cling Stamp set randomly over the strip and ink the edges using Archival Tea Rose ink. Adhere to the card base as shown. Cut white cardstock 4” x 5 1/4”, ink the edges, stamp the sentiment from Special Birthday Sentiments Cling Stamp Set and a flower from Welcome Baby Cling Stamp set using Archival Tea Rose ink and adhere to inside of card. Punch a hole in the card base to insert ribbon. (See link photo.) A craft knife can be used in place of the punch. Cut a piece of ribbon 20”, adhere to the stamped strip on the front of the card and thread through the holes. 

Cut Luxe Gold Cardstock 3 3/8 x 4 7/8” and white cardstock 3 1/4 x 4 7/8”. Using any embossing folder, emboss the white cardstock and adhere to the gold cardstock. Adhere to the card front using dries clear adhesive as shown. 

Stamp the sentiment from Special Birthday Sentiments Cling Stamp Set on white cardstock using Special Birthday Sentiments Cling Stamp Set and diecut using the third smallest Diamond Basics Die. Diecut the third smallest Eyelet Diamond Die from Luxe Gold Cardstock, Adhere the diecuts together and adhere to card front using Dimensional squares.  

Stamp the floral images from the Welcome Baby Cling Stamp Set on white cardstock using Memento London Fog Ink. Color using markers, diecut using coordinating dies, spray with Sheer Shimmer Spritz – Sparkle, lightly shape using Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit and adhere to the card front using dimensional dots. 

Tie the card closed using the ribbon.
