Heartfelt Creations - Asters in Bloom

 Hi and Welcome!

I think the Wild Asters are a favorite of mine! I especially love them in this color!

Other Products: White cardstock, Diecutting Machine, Hot Glue Gun, Misti,

Instructions: Card size is 5 x 7”. Cut one panel off of the Gateway Fold Card to create a side opening card base. Using the largest Scalloped Flourish Gateway Die, cut two pieces from the Sea Breeze Paper Collection, ink the edges using Garden Patina Ink and adhere to the front and inside of the card. Using all of the Ornate Flourish Gateway Dies, cut from white cardstock, sponge with dries clear adhesive, sprinkle with Rajni Chawla’s Crystal Clear glitter and adhere to the card front.

Using the second and third largest eyelet dies from Eyelet Frame Gateway Die, cut from white cardstock. Using the second largest plain Eyelet Frame Gateway Die, cut from the Sea Breeze paper collection, ink the edges of the designer paper using Garden Patina ink. Stamp the ‘Happy Birthday to You’ sentiment on the smallest eyelet diecut, layer the diecuts and adhere to the inside of the card.

Stamp Wild Asters on Deluxe Flower Shaping paper using Garden Patina ink. Color with Vivid Chartreuse, Garden Patina and olive inks, diecut using the coordinating dies and shape using the Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit. Use three petals to create the larger flowers and two petals to create the smaller ones, making sure to offset them. Create the buds using two of the smallest flowers with an olive flower on the outside and a Garden Patina flower on the inside. Using dries clear adhesive, add Lettuce Entertain You Prills to the flower centers.

Stamp the Wild Aster leaves on Deluxe Flower Shaping paper using Archival Olive ink, color using Vivid Chartreuse and Olive inks, diecut using the coordinating die, add color around the edges using Olive ink and shape using the Deluxe Flower Shaping kit. Sponge the flowers and the leaves with dries clear adhesive, sprinkle with Rajni Chawla’s Crystal Clear glitter and adhere to the card front using hot glue.

Stamp the ‘Happy Birthday’ sentiment on white cardstock using Garden Patina ink, diecut using the banner die, sponge with dries clear adhesive and sprinkle with Crystal Clear glitter. Lightly shape and adhere to the card front using hot glue.
