Heartfelt Creations - Debuting the Elegant Centerpiece Dies

 Hi and Welcome!

Today we're debuting the gorgeous Elegant Centerpiece Dies.

Stylish and versatile, the Elegant Centerpiece Dies are magnificent for creating those one of a kind, jaw dropping shaped cards, decorative accent pieces or embellishments on your favorite paper crafting projects! Add a unique flair to your cards or add elegant decor to any paper crafting project.

My Project today is very sparkly.

Card size is 5 1/2 x 5 1/2”. Using the largest Simply Elegant Centerpiece Die, cut 2x from white cardstock. Adhere double sided tape to the top of the second white cardstock before diecutting and score just underneath the tape. Adhere the two together to create the card base. Using the same die, cut again 2x from the Rustic Sunflower Paper Collect, sheet 4A, ink the edges using Distress Oxide Vintage Photo Ink and adhere one to the front of the card base. Trim the top of the second one and adhere to the inside of the card. Using the second and fourth dies from the same set, cut from the blue designer paper, sheet 12B and again from blue cardstock. Adhere the designer paper to the blue cardstock, sponge with dries clear adhesive and cover with Crystal Ultrafine Transparent glitter. Using the third die, cut from designer paper and from white cardstock. Adhere together and ink the edges using vintage photo. Adhere the large decorative diecut to the card front as shown. Adhere the small decorative blue diecut to the third diecut and adhere to the center using dimensional squares. Using the third die, cut again from designer paper, ink the edges, stamp ‘let’s celebrate you’ using Cobalt Archival ink and adhere to the inside of the card.

Stamp the Rustic Sunflowers on Deluxe Flower Shaping Paper using Memento Potter's Clay ink. Color using Memento Peanut Brittle and ColorBox Harvest inks. Diecut using the coordinating dies, ink the edges using Memento Rhubarb Stalk, shape using the Rustic Sunflower Mold and finish shaping by pinching and twisting the tips. Spray with Sheer Shimmer Craft Spray - Sparkle and let dry. Adhere three flowers together slightly offsetting using hot glue to create the large flower. Stamp the large leaf using Olive ink, color using Vivid Chartreuse and Olive, diecut and ink the edges using Olive. Shape in the mold.

To create the smaller flowers, stamp the larger sunflowers from the Rustic Sunflower Can & Freezer Cling Stamp Set 4x on Deluxe Flower Shaping Paper using Potter’s Clay for the flower and Olive for the stalks and leaves. Color the flowers using Memento Peanut Brittle and ColorBox Harvest inks. Color the leaves using Vivid Chartreuse and Olive ink. Diecut using the coordinating die, ink the edges of the flowers using Memento Rhubarb Stalk and ink the edges of the leaves using Olive ink, shape using the Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit. Finish shaping by pinching and twisting the flower petal tips. Spray with Sheer Shimmer Craft Spray - Sparkle and let dry. Cut them apart and adhere two flowers together slightly offsetting to create the sunflowers. Add hot glue or dries clear adhesive to all the flower centers and cover with brown Gala Glitz.

Adhere the flowers and leaves to the left side of the card front using hot glue.

Stamp the small Floral Butterfly on vellum using VersaMark, sprinkle with Aged Ivory embossing powder and heat set using the Heat it Tool. Color the back of the butterfly using Distress Oxide inks – Spiced Marmalade and Fossilized Amber, lightly shape and adhere to the right side of the card using hot glue.
