Hi and Welcome.
It's a bitterly cold day here on Long Island so I thought I'd create a pretty spring card to remind me that spring is right around the corner. Blue, white and yellow is one of my favorite color combinations, so that's what I went with here.
Hope you like it as much as I do.
Create a 6 x 6" white card base. Cut papers from Evening Rose
Paper Collection, distress the edges, adhere together then adhere to the
card base using dimensional tape. Cut two of the decorative large die using Autumn Fancy Corners from white cardstock. Use the curved outer die to cut a mat layer from white cardstock and from blue designer paper. Adhere together as shown and
adhere to the card front using dimensional tape. Cut the butterfly from blue, yellow and white cardstock, adhere layers together, shape and adhere to the top right corner of the card front.
Using the Wild Flower 3 dies, cut 2 each of three graduating size
petals from colored cardstock for each rose. Pierce holes in the center
of each petal, use golf tool to shape and thread on a wired stamen
to create roses. Cut the filler flowers from Florals 32, shape and add
tiny stamens to the centers. Cut the leaves from the
Garden Party Paper Collection using the die from Autumn Foliage.
Ink the edges, shape, cut apart and adhere.
Stamp the sentiment from Garden Party Elements on white cardstock, round the edges using a corner punch and adhere to the bottom right corner using dimensionals. Cut another piece off paper from the evening Rose Paper Collection, distress the edges and adhere to the inside of the card. Add glitter to the flowers, butterfly and randomly to the card front.
