Heartfelt Creations - Encouraging Climbing Clematis

 Hi and welcome!

I just love everything about the Floral Banners Collection. It is so easy to create a card that has a lot of punch. My project today is a simple slimline card.

Instructions: Card size is 4 1/4 x 9”. Score and fold 8 1/2 x 9” Deluxe Flower Shaping Paper at 4 1/4” on the short side to create side fold card base. Cut Luxe Gold Cardstock 4 1/8 x 8 7/8” 2x. Cut Floral Banners Paper Collection sheet 8B for the front and sheet 3B for the inside 4 x 8 3/4”. Ink the edges of the designer papers with Brilliance Pearlescent Jade ink, adhere to the Luxe Gold Cardstock and the adhere to the front and inside of the card base using designer dries clear adhesive.

Stamp the Vining Clematis Banner Stamp and the ‘To encourage you’ sentiment from the Elaborate Birthday Cling Stamp on Strathmore Bristol Vellum cardstock using VersaMark ink, cover with Ranger gold embossing powder and heat set using the Heat it Tool. Color the leaves using Stampin’ Blend marker Light Just Jade and color the flowers using Deep Violet Zig Clean Color Real Brush Marker. Diecut using the coordinating die and diecut 4 more times from Deluxe Flower Shaping Paper. Adhere the layers together using dries clear adhesive for dimension and adhere to the top of the card front. Using a glue pen add Crystal Ultrafine Transparent glitter to the banner and the design on the designer paper on the front of the card.

Stamp the Climbing Clematis flowers on Deluxe Flower Shaping Paper using Deep Purple ink, color using the same ink, diecut using the coordinating die and shape using the Clematis 3D Mold. Pierce the centers and add bridal bouquet stamens.

Adhere the flowers to the floral banner as shown, sponge with dries clear adhesive and sprinkle with Rajni Chawla’s Crystal Clear glitter.

Stamp the ‘just a note to cheer you’ sentiment on Deluxe Flower Shaping Paper using VersaMark ink, cover with Ranger gold embossing powder and heat set using the Heat it Tool. Diecut using the outside Vining Clematis Banner Die, ink the edges and adhere to the inside of the card.
