Heartfelt Creations - Debuting the Floral Butterfly Collection

Today we're debuting the absolutely gorgeous Floral Butterfly Collection and I'm so excited because I just love butterflies!

Hydra Sponges, RLHS100

Other Products: White Cardstock, Diecutting Machine, VersaMark, WOW Persian Indigo Embossing Glitter, Hot Glue Gun, Misti, Watercolor Paper, Sheer Shimmer Craft Spray Sparkle, Distress Oxide Inks Wilted Violet and Peacock Feathers

Instructions: Using the largest Large Floral Butterfly Die, place 1/4” above the fold of a 6 x 5” card base and cut. Using the same die, cut two more times, once from white cardstock and once from the Floral Butterfly Paper Collection, sheet 10B. Ink the edges of both using Distress Oxide Peacock Feathers ink, adhere together using dries clear adhesive and adhere to the butterfly shaped card base.

Stamp the Large Floral Butterfly image on watercolor paper using VersaMark, cover with WOW Persian Indigo Embossing Glitter and heat set using the Heat It Tool. Color the image using the Zig clean Color Real Brush Markers; Violet, Light Violet and Light Blue, diecut using the coordinating die and spray using sheer shimmer craft spray Sparkle. Lightly shape using the stylus and largest tip from the Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit. Diecut again from white cardstock, trim off the antennae and ink the edges of this diecut using Peacock Feathers ink. Adhere the two diecuts together using dries clear glue on the body and double foam dots on the wings. Adhere to the card base using glue on the body only.

Stamp the Small Wild Roses on Deluxe Flower Shaping using Majestic Violet ink, color with distress oxide Peacock Feathers and Wilted Violet inks, diecut using the coordinating dies, shape using the Small 3D Wild Rose Shaping Mold and the groove golf tools. Cover the Rose Hip stamen with dries clear adhesive and dip in the crystal clear glitter. Using the groove golf tool, pierce holes in each petal and insert Rose Hip and Rock Candynstamens Adhere three same size flowers together, making sure to offset them, using hot glue to create the wild rose.

Stamp the fern images from the Floral Butterfly Accents Cling Stamp Set on Deluxe Flower Shaping Paper using Archival Olive ink, color using Vivid Chartreause and Olive inks and diecut using the coordinating die.

Sponge the flower and leaves with dries clear adhesive, sprinkle with Rajni Chawla’s crystal clear glitter and adhere to the butterfly.

Diecut the ‘thank you’ Ironwork Sentiments Die and mat layer from white cardstock, color the sentiment using the Peacock Feathers and Wilted Violet inks. Ink the edges of the mat layer with the same inks and adhere to the inside of the card.
