Heartfelt Creations - Candlelit Christmas Collection Debut - Light Up the Night

Merry Christmas!!!!!

Yes, it's Christmas in July and today we're debuting the GORGEOUS
Candlelit Christmas Collection!

The snow is gently falling, the decorating has been done, and the soft glow from the candles in the window invite you to just sit, relax and enjoy the peaceful side of the holiday season! Flickering candlelight is always a cozy welcome addition to any Christmas festivities, and is a lovely way to create a warm and welcoming ambiance, allowing for a stillness that leads to reflections of the season! Steeped in traditions for centuries, illuminated candles have been associated with the yuletide season in various ways…from being placed in the window offering a warm welcome to travelers from afar, to representing the Star of Bethlehem guiding the Wise Men to the birthplace of Jesus Christ, to setting the ambiance to a family Christmas dinner! Whether you enjoy the brilliance of candlelit lanterns, grand candelabras or a glowing votive, there is no denying the beautiful luminescence candles bring to the advent season! Join us as we leave behind the hustle and bustle and take time to reflect on the calmer side of the holiday season with the new Candlelit Christmas Collection! Become enraptured in a glimmering paper collection hued in brilliant blues, garland greens and holly berry reds, ensconced in illustrations of glowing candlelit lanterns, pretty centerpieces, and gladdening poinsettias, all dipped in elegant snowflake patterns, breathtaking brocades and festive floral clusters! A brilliant assembling of cling stamp sets, along with coordinating dies, offer radiant illustrations of festive lanterns, stunning ornamental centerpieces and beautifully scripted sentiments, perfect for embellishing all of your Christmas themed paper crafting creations. Stamp, die cut and shape an assortment of traditional flowering poinsettias, along with decorative holly accents quickly and easily with the coordinating cling stamp set, dies and dimensional shaping mold, allowing you to assemble realistic holiday poinsettias ideal for accenting handmade holiday greeting cards, scrapbook layouts, and heirloom albums!  So, join us as we light our favorite candles, take in the beauty of the holiday season, and enjoy the shimmer and incandescence of the Candlelit Christmas Collection!

Here's the card I created for the debut!

Instructions: Card base is 5 x 7”. Cut white cardstock 7 x 10”, score and fold at 5” on the long side to create top fold card base. Cut dark blue snowflake and tree paper from the Candlelit Christmas Collection 2x 4 7/8 x 6 7/8”, ink the edges with Cobalt Blue ink and adhere to the inside and outside of the card base.

From the 6 x 6” panel of the same paper, cut 2x 4 7/8” x 4 7/8” and 4x  3/8 x 4 7/8” to cover the 5 x 5” shadow box. Use the Cut Mat Create 2A die to cut the opening in the front. Ink all the edges with Cobalt Blue ink and adhere to the shadow box. Using dries clear adhesive, add glitter to the snowflakes and using dries white adhesive, add Frosting Powder to the trees. Assemble the shadow box.

Stamp the lantern on watercolor paper using VersaMark ink, cover with WOW Metallic Silver Sparkle Embossing Glitter and heat set using the Heat It Tool. Color using Zig Clean color Real Brush Markers and the Color In Watercolor Brush, diecut and add gold prills to the flower centers. Adhere the lantern so that it’s hanging from the inside of the shadow box. Adhere 3D Dots to the back of the lantern.

Stamp the Christmas poinsettias on Real Red cardstock using VersaMark ink, cover with WOW Sparkling Snow Embossing Glitter and heat set using the Heat It Tool. Stamp the holly leaves and the holly spray on Garden Green cardstock using VersaMark ink, cover with WOW Sparkling Snow Embossing Glitter and heat set using the Heat It Tool. Place the poinsettias and holly leaves face down in the 3D Christmas Poinsettia Shaping Mold, spritz with water and run through the diecutting machine to shape. Use the Deluxe Flower Shaping kit to finish shaping and to shape the holly spray. Sponge the poinsettias, holly leaves and holly spray with dries clear adhesive and sprinkle with Rajni Chawla’s Crystal Clear. Add silver glass to the flower centers and red Swarovski crystals to the holly spray as shown.

Diecut both of the Starry Night Decorative Dies from white cardstock, sponge with dries clear adhesive and sprinkle with Rajni Chawla’s Crystal Clear. Using thelarge Ticket and Tags Die, cut 2x from white cardstock and using the inside die, cut the tags from the paper collection. Adhere together, punch a hole in the top, ink the edges with cobalt blue ink, add blue jute twine to each tag and add glitter.

Adhere the tags to the card base as shown. Adhere the circular Starry Night die to the top back of the shadow box. Adhere the other Starry Night die to the right side of the shadow box and adhere the shadow box to the
card base.
