Ruffled Carnations - Elizabeth Craft Designs

 High and Welcome!

Carnations are one of my favorite flowers and I had so much fun ruffling the Bohemian Rose by Angelica Turner to make it look like a ruffled carnation. I love how this card turned out.

Create a  6 x 6" white card base. Cut a 5 7/8 X 5 7/8" gold layer and a 5 3/4 x 5 3/4" Bohemian Rose layer. Ink the edges of the designer cardstock, adhere the two layers together and adhere to the card front using dimensional tape.
Using the Autumn Fancy Corners die set, cut 2 x from white and gold cardstock. Adhere the white diecuts to the gold diecuts slightly offset to create a gold shadow. Adhere to the card front as shown.
Cut gold cardstock 5 7/8 x 5 7/8" and Bohemian Rose cardstock 5 3/4 x 5 3/4", ink the edges of the designer paper, adhere together and adhere to the inside of the card.
Diecut, color and shape the Rose flower and the leaves. Wet the flowers, crinkle and layer together. I used two each of three graduated sizes to create each ruffled carnation. Adhere the flowers and leaves to the card front using hot glue.
Stamp the sentiment on white cardstock, fussy cut and adhere to the card front using dimensional dots.

Heartfelt Sympathy - Elizabeth Craft Designs

 Hi and Welcome!

Unfortunately, I've had to attend a couple of wakes recently and this is one of the sympathy cards I created.

Create a 5 x 7" white card base. Cut a purple layer 4 7/8 x 6 7/8" and a white layer 4 1/2 x 6 1/2". Emboss the white layer and adhere the two layers together, then adhere to the card front. Diecut the Decorative Dimensional Basket handle base from purple cardstock and the decorative part from white cardstock. Adhere together and adhere to the left side of the card front.

Diecut, color, stamp, shape and assemble the Rose Companion flowers and add prills to the centers. Diecut, color and shape the leaves and diecut the ferns all from Soft Finish cardstock. Adhere along side the Basket handle using hot glue.
Create the sentiment on the computer and dovetail the end. Adhere to the top right of the card front with a dimensional dot in the center to raise it up a bit.
Cut a purple layer 4 7/8 x 6 7/8" and adhere to the inside of the card.

Birthday Blooms - Elizabeth Craft Designs

 Hi and Welcome!

I created this pretty birthday card for a special friend. She hasn't received it yet so I hope it arrives soon. I used the beautiful Bohemian Rose collection and the Spring Blossom collection, both designed by the very talented Angelica Turner.

Using the largest Ornamental Frame Die, cut a white card base. Use the same die to cut Bohemian Rose cardstock and adhere to the card front. Use a coordinating sheet of the same designer cardstock to cut the decorative Ornamental Frame, then adhere to the card front. Adhere the center section using dimensional tape.
Use the same largest frame die to cut a panel for the inside of the card.
Cut, color, stamp and shape the rose companion flower from the Bohemian Rose Collection along with the leaves. Add prills to the large flower centers and stamens to the small flowers. Adhere the flowers and leaves to the card front using hot glue creating a beautiful cluster.
Stamp the sentiment from the Garden Party Elements stamps on designer cardstock, dovetail the ends and adhere to the card front using dimensional tape.
