A Masculine Birthday Card - Elizabeth Craft Designs

 Hi and Welcome!!!

Creating masculine birthday cards can sometimes be overwhelming but Elizabeth Craft Designs has so many versatile products to create with, masculine cards are a breeze. A big thank you to two of the amazing designers whose products i used for this card, Angelica Turner and Devid Roodenburg. I created this Double Flap Joy Fold card for one of my grandsons who turned 19 last week. He actually started saving the cards I make for him when he was 8 and now has a very large drawer full of them. Isn't that special? Love him!

Cut blue cardstock 7 x 11", score at 4" and 9" on the long side. Cut blue cardstock 7 x 3 1/2", score at 3 1/2" on the long side. Cut silver cardstock 3 3/4 x 6 3/4", 1 3/4 x 6 3/4", 4 3/4 x 6 3/4", and 3 1/4 x 3 1/4". Cut Devid's beautiful Bacgrounds Volume 2 designer paper 3 1/2 x 6 1/2", 1 1/2 x 6 1/2", 4 1/2 x 6 1/2", 3 x 3". Cut white cardstock 4 1/4 x 6 1/2". Ink the edges of the designer paper, then adhere the layers together and adhere to the card base.
Top Tip: Before adhering the layers to the card base, determine where you want your placement then adhere small magnets to the top of the smaller card base and to the inside of the larger base so the card stays closed.
Diecut Floral Greenery from Silver and blue cardstock and shape with your fingers. Diecut circles using Small Doilies from silver and designer cardstock. Ink the designer cardstock circle and adhere the two together. Adhere the greenery a shown using hot glue, then adhere the circle as shown using dimensional squares.
Adhere sentiment to the inside of the small card.
Diecut the Autumn Fancy Borders from silver and blue cardstock and adhere to the inside edges of the card. Stamp a leaf image on the white cardstock and adhere to the inside. Note: I wound up adding a little pocket on the left side to hold a gift card.

Diecut the medallion from the Art Journal Romance die set once from silver cardstock and four times from gray cardstock. Adhere the medallions together to create a thick piece and then adhere to the front of the card.

Pretty in Pink Poinsettias - Elizabeth Craft Designs

Hi and Welcome!

Another Christmas card is done! These poinsettias from the Festive Holly Collection by Angelica Turner turned out so pretty in pink. Now to figure out who I'm going to give this card to. Hmmmm.

Create a 6 x 6" tent fold card base from white pearlescent cardstock. Cut a 5 3/4 x 5 3/4" layer from pink pearlescent cardstock and a 5 1/2 x 5 1/2" layer from the white pearlescent cardstock. Emboss the white layer using a pretty Christmas embossing folder. Adhere the layers together and adhere to the card front.
Stamp the sentiment on the white 3/4" cardstock using VersaMark ink, cover with silver embossing powder and heat set. Dovetail one end, use a score tool and score board and score the edges of the sentiment.
Cut a 5 3/4 x 5 3/4" panel and adhere to the inside of the card.
Diecut the poinsettias from pink pearlescent card stock, the holly leaves from white pearlescent cardstock and the pine leaves from silver cardstock. Shape the poinsettias and layer two of the same size flowers and one that's one size smaller offset to create each poinsettia and add stamens to the centers. Shape the holly leaves and pine leaves and create a floral cluster. Adhere to the card front using hot glue. Shape the sentiment and adhere next the flowers. To finish it off, add some Swarovski crystals.

50th Anniversary Floral - Elizabeth Crafts Designs

Hi and Welcome!

There's nothing like flowers for a special anniversary and these paper flowers by Angelica Turner will last forever.

Create a 5 x 7" white card base and layer with a gold panel 4 3/4 x 6 3/4" and a white embossed panel 4 1/2 x 6 1/2". Adhere the layers with dimensional tape.
Stamp the sentiment from Floral Branches and Sentiments stamp set with VersaMark on white cardstock 7/8 x 2 3/4", cover with gold embossing powder and heat set. I then added gold numbers from my stash. Layer onto a gold layer that's slightly larger to create a pretty gold border. Adhere to the front of the card as shown using dimensional tape. Cut 4 x 6" white cardstock for the inside and use a decorative corner punch on all four corners.
Diecut two same size flowers from Soft Finish Cardstock to create each beautiful blossom. Color the petals using Memento Lilac Posies ink, shape, adhere together and add pearl stamens to the centers. Diecut the leaves using the same cardstock, color using Memento Bamboo Leaves ink and shape. Adhere the flowers and leaves to the card front as shown using hot glue.
