Birthday Blooms - Elizabeth Craft Designs

 Hi and Welcome!

Just in case you haven't figured it out yet, I'm obsessed with this magnolia flower lol. They can be colored and shaped so many different ways. This is a birthday card I created for my beautiful daughter.

Create a 7 x 5" white card base. Cut Spring Blossom green paper 6 7/8 x 4 7/8" two times. Cut white cardstock 6 5/8 x 4 5/8". Using the Ornamental Frame Die, cut apertures in the white cardstock. Diecut gold cardstock and adhere behind the cardstock slightly offset. Adhere this layer to the green layer, then adhere to the card front using dimensional tape. Adhere second green layer to the inside of the card.
Cut, color and shape Magnolia flowers and leaves. Assemble flowers, add prills to the centers and adhere to the card front using hot glue.

Stamp the sentiment on white cardstock, cut using the Layered Labels dies along with a gold mat layer. Adhere together and adhere to the card front using dimensional tape.
To finish, add glitter and bling.

Tweet Cherry Blossom - Elizabeth Craft 'Designs

Hi and Welcome!

The weather has been kind of gloomy around here but this sweet bird and the cherry blossoms from the Elizabeth Craft Designs Spring Blossom Collection by Designs by Angelica Turner certainly cheer me up. I hope it also cheered up my friend.

Create a 7 x 5" card base using the Ornamental Frame die. Using the largest frame die, cut white cardstock. Diecut two more times from the Evening Rose Collection cardstock and ink the edges. Diecut the decorative frame from white cardstock.
Adhere the white diecut, one of the evening rose diecuts and the decorative frame diecut together, wrap a pretty pink ribbon around the center and then adhere to the card front.
Cut a 3 3/4" circle from white cardstock and designer paper, adhere together and adhere to the card front as shown using dimensional dots. Cut, color and shape curved leaves and adhere around edges of the circle. Diecut bird, color and assemble. Diecut, color and shape the cherry blossoms, leaves and branches and adhere to the circle. Adhere the bird. To finish, add crystals and glitter.

Heartfelt Sympathy - Elizabeth Craft Designs

Hi and welcome!!!

I'm  not happy when I have to make sympathy cards but I think they help the people who are mourning the loss of a loved one. This one turned out really pretty and I know my dear friend appreciated it. I used the Spring Blossom Collection by Angelica Turner (Designs by Angelica Turner) for Elizabeth Craft Designs.

Create a 7 x 5" white card base and cover with 7 x 5" pearlized paper. Using Elegant Decorative Frame die, cut an aperture from another 7 x 5" pearlized paper and adhere to card front using Dimensional Tape.
Diecut from Soft Finish CS, color and shape magnolia flowers.
Diecut leaves from green cardstock, color using pearlized white ink and shape.
Assemble the flowers, add stamens and glitter.
Adhere the flowers and leaves to the card front. T
he sentiment is computer generated and printed on pearlized paper. Cut using a paper trimmer, dove tail the end and use a scoreboard and a small stylus to create the design on the edges. Bend the sentiment and adhere as shown using hot glue.

Thinking of You - Elizabeth Craft Designs

 Hi and Welcome!

I love this time of the year. The trees are green, the flowers are blooming and there are so many wonderful new beginnings.

Today's card reminds me of all those things and I'm sending it to someone who's going through quite a lot right now. I hope it cheers her.

Create a 6 x 6" tent fold white card base. Cut a 5 3/4 x 5 3/4" white layer 2x and a 5 1/2 x 5 1/2" designer paper layer 2x from the Spring Blossom Collection. Adhere the two sets of layers together and then adhere one set inside the card using glue and the other one to the card front using dimensional tape.

Diecut the Fitted Indented Square Frames from white card stock and diecut an image from the paper collection. Stamp the sentiment from the Floral Branches & Sentiments stamp set in black ink on the designer paper. Create a dimensional frame as shown with the image in the background.

Adhere the frame to the center of the card front.

Cut, color and shape the cherry blossoms, leaves and branch, add the stamens to the centers of the flowers and adhere all to the card front using hot glue.
