Ruffled Carnation - Elizabeth Craft Designs

Hi and Welcome!

Spring is definitely in the air. These last few days have been absolutely beautiful.

The carnation is one of my favorite flowers so I decided to turn the cornflower into a version of the ruffled carnation.

The card base was created using the Decorative Oval Frame die, white cardstock and Garden Party designer cardstock.

Diecut 2 each of 3 sizes of the Cornflower from Soft Finish Cardstock to create the flowers.

The leaves are from the Floral Greenery 3.

Add the sentiment from the Easter Greetings Stamp set, lots of glitter and a pretty bow and the card is done.

Elizabeth Craft Designs - Spring Awakening Collection is Live

 Hi and Welcome!

Today is a great day! The Spring Awakening Collection by Angelica Turner is live on the Elizabeth Crafts Designs Web Page. What a fantastic collection to create with. I just love everything about it.

The egg shaped die and the beautiful tulips pair beautifully together.

Create a card base from white cardstock and the Pretty Pastels paper collection.
Glitter the decorative center section of the egg.

Diecut, color, shape and glitter the beautiful tulips and leaves and adhere to the card front. Tip: I found it was very easy to shape the tulip by inserting a wired stamen into the center of the flowers.Use two flowers of the same size to create each tulip.

Stamp the sentiment from the Easter Greetings stamp set and cut using an oval punch. Adhere to the top left side of the card front. Add a pretty white bow to finish it off.
