Tweet Magnolia - Elizabeth Crafts Designs

 Hi and welcome!

Well, the new collection, Spring Blossom. designed by Angelica Turner is available is stores and I'm in love with everything about it. The gorgeous frame, the absolutely beautiful magnolia, the  pretty cherry blossoms and that sweet bird have all captured my heart. The collection will be available on the website May 7th. Here's my first card with this amazing new collection.

Using the outside frame die, cut a card base and an additional layer from white cardstock. Then cut two more layers from a darker color of the paper collection, one for the card front and one for the inside and ink the edges. Using the decorative frame dies, cut from a lighter color of the same collection. Adhere the layers to the front of the card.
Trim the left side of the designer paper and adhere to the inside of the card. Use a corner punch on the corners of a piece of 4 x 6" cardstock, ink the edges and stamp the image and sentiment as shown and adhere to the inside of the card.
Diecut, color and shape the beautiful magnolias and the leaves. Create the flower centers from the dies in the set. Use all four sizes to create the centers, color them and assemble them onto a small stamen. The largest diecut goes on first and the smallest one goes on last. Put the flowers together and adhere to the card front.
Diecut all the pieces of the adorable bird, color and assemble. stamp the sentiment on white cardstock, diecut that and a designer paper using the Layered Labels set, ink the edges and adhere to the card front using dimensional. Adhere the bird on top of the label.

A Spring Birthday - Elizabeth Craft Designs

Hi and welcome to my blog!

Today I'm sharing a birthday card I created for my beautiful niece's 65th Birthday using the Spring Awakening Collection by Angelica Turner

My niece loved it!

Cut a white 5 x 7" gatefold card base. Cover the gates with gold cardstock and Garden Party Designer Cardstock.
Using the base die from the Decorative Dimensional Basket, cut from white cardstock and Garden Party cardstock. Using the decorative base die, cut from gold cardstock and white cardstock and adhere together just so the gold creates a slight shadow. Lay the white diecut on the center of the card front and adhere the second magnet on top and then adhere the designer diecut and then the white and gold decorative diecut. Adhere this whole piece on the left side of the card front so that the magnets line up.
Cut gold cardstock and Garden Party cardstock and adhere to the center of the inside of the card over the magnet. Cut the handle from the Decorative Dimensional Basket 2x from white cardstock and 2 x from gold cardstock. Adhere the gold behind the white creating a gold shadow and adhere to each side of the inside.
Cut Flowers from Soft Finish Cardstoock using the dies from the Tulip and the Cornflower and leaves from the Floral Greenery 3 set.
Color and shape the flowers and leaves and add stamens and glitter.
Stamp the sentiment on white cardstock from the Easter Greetings Stamp Set using VersaMark, cover with gold embossing powder and heat set. Cut using the Layered Labels. Adhere to the center of the card front and adhere the flowers and leaves to the left side of it.

Easter Bunnies - Elizabeth Craft Designs

Hi and Welcome!!!

Easter is almost here and these are my last two Easter cards. I made these for my grandsons and chose to make the same card using two different color pallets. This little bunny by Joset Van De Burg is the absolute cutest and pairs beautifully with the Gorgeous Spring Awakening Collection by Angelica Turner.

Create two card bases, one from white cardstock and one from cream cardstock.
Cut two layers 4 7/8 x 6 7/8", make the egg cutout using the Honeycomb Egg largest die, emboss and adhere to the card fronts. Cut two designer papers from the Pretty Pastels Cardstock, one in blue and one in green 9 3/4 x 6 7/8".
Stamp the sentiment from Easter Greetings Stamp set on white cardstock and cut using the Layered Labels die. Layer on blue Pretty Pastels cardstock. Diecut the Bunny pieces from Soft Finish Cardstock, color using Distress Oxide inks: Hickory Smoke, Pumice Stone and Salt Water Taffy and assemble. Cut, color and shape leaves from the Floral Greenery 3 set.
Fold the blue 9 3/4 x 6 7/8" Pretty Pastels cardstock in half and adhere to the right inside of the card base.
Cut eggs from the Bunny die set from blue, yellow and purple cardstock. Adhere the leaves, bunny and eggs to the bottom center of the card front.

Stamp the sentiment from Easter Greetings Stamp set on cream cardstock and cut using the Layered Labels die. Layer on green Pretty Pastels cardstock. Diecut the bunny pieces from Soft Finish Cardstock, color using Distress Oxide inks: Vintage Photo, Tea Dye and Salt Water Taffy and assemble. Cut, color and shape leaves from the Floral Greenery 3 set.

Easter Basket - Elizabeth Craft Designs

 Hi and welcome!

Well, it's officially spring and I'm so anxious for the weather to get warmer. As my husband said this morning, I'm tired of wearing coats.

Easter is getting closer and I created a pretty Easter Basket using the Spring Awakening Collection by Designs by Angelica Turner that can actually be left on display year round. Just change whatever you put in it.

Using the Decorative Dimensional Basket Die and purple cardstock, create the 8 sided basket base. Then diecut and add the decorative panels.

Using the Tulip dies, the Cornflower dies and the Floral greenery 3 Dies, cut the flowers and leaves. Color and shape the flowers and leaves, add flower centers and adhere to the basket handle.
Randomly add glitter to the basket and the flowers for some extra sparkle.
This basket is so versatile and can be used for many different occasions!
