Heartfelt Creations - Frame a Card Dies Launch

Good morning and welcome!

First of all I want to say welcome to the new Heartfelt Creations Designers: Cheryl Morgan, Darla Rants, Di Garling, Eugenia Redmond, Pavitra Chanchal, Sarah Miller, Tracy Crane, and Uma Didwania. I'm so excited to be working with all of you.

Today we're launching the beautiful Frame a Card Dies and they are so much fun to work with.

Here's a card I created using the Eyelet Lace Frames Die.

Instructions: Card size is 5 x 7”. Cut Pearl White Metallic cardstock to 10 x 7”, score at 5” on the long side and fold. Cut another piece of Pearl white cardstock 5 7/8” x 6 7/8” and adhere to the card base with dimensional tape.

Diecut the Eyelet Lace Frames from Pearl White Metallic cardstock. Adhere the large frame to the white mat layer using mini dimensional dots. Diecut the large border again from the Lush Lilac Paper Collection and use only the negative piece from the center. Adhere to the base as shown using dries clear adhesive. Adhere the small frame to the designer paper using dries clear adhesive. Stamp the sentiment onto the center diecut using Concord ink and adhere to the center of the small frame using dimensional tape. 

Stamp the Large and small Camelia Carnations on white cardstock using Concord ink. Color with the Concord and Lilac Posies inks. Place the petals in the Floral Basics Mold, mist with water and run through the die cutting machine. While still wet, pinch all the petals to get a nice ruffled effect. Use the Deluxe Flower shaping tools to finish shaping the carnations. See the video for more instruction.  

Stamp the Classic Rose Vines on white cardstock using Brilliance Pearlescent Ivy ink, diecut with the coordinating die. Color with Pearlescent Ivy and Lilac Posies inks and shape using the Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit. Using a sponge and dries clear adhesive, add Crystal Clear Glitter to the flowers and Leaves.

Adhere the Carnations and the Leaves to the card base using a hot glue gun.

Oh my goodness, I just love these beautiful butterflies, don't you?

Today's card was so easy to create, yet I think the glitter embossing powder has a beautiful effect on the pearl metallic cardstock.

Score a 12” x 6” piece of Pearl White Metallic cardstock at 6” and fold on the score line. Cut another piece of pearl white metallic cardstock 6” x 6”. Stamp the sentiment on this and run through the big shot in the butterfly embossing folder. Adhere to the card base using dimensional tape.  Stamp the Fluttering Butterfly on pearl white metallic cardstock using VersaMark and sprinkle with Whirlpool Embossing Glitter. Heat set using the Heat It Craft Tool. Diecut with the coordinating die, lightly shape with the Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit and adhere to the card using double dots and dries clear adhesive. Stamp the Flowering Dogwoods on pearl white metallic cardstock using VersaMark and sprinkle with Whirlpool Embossing Glitter. Heat set using the Heat It Craft Tool. Diecut with the coordinating die and then shape the flowers using the Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit. Add dries clear glue to the centers and sprinkle with Baja Breeze Stampin Glitter. Adhere the flowers to the card as shown using a hot glue gun. Start with a 12” x 12” sheet of Pearl White Metallic Cardstock and cut it in half. Score both pieces at 6” and adhere the two pieces together with dries clear adhesive so that you have a double center and a right and left flap. Use a paper trimmer to cut the right flap diagonally in half from the score line to the bottom right corner. Cut the left flap from the score line to the bottom left corner. Splitcoaststampers has a great crisscross card tutorial with photos here: https://www.splitcoaststampers.com/resources/tutorials/criss_cross_card/  Cut a piece of dark aqua designer paper from the Butterfly Dreams Paper Collection 5 7/8” x 5 7/8” and adhere to the 6” x 6” section of the card. Cut a piece of aqua cardstock 5 7/8” x 5 7/8”, cut in half diagonally and adhere to the two crisscross panels. Cut a 5 3/4” x 5 3/4” piece of aqua designer paper, cut in half diagonally, ink the edges with Garden Patina Ink and adhere to the aqua cardstock. Cut two Sweetheart Borders from Pearl White cardstock, sponge with dries clear adhesive and sprinkle with Rajni Chawla’s Crystal Clear. When Dry adhere to the insides of the crisscross panels as shown. Use dries clear adhesive to seal the bottom of the pocket closed. Cut one of the corners from the square Butterfly Kisses Decorative die, sponge it with dries clear adhesive, sprinkle with Crystal Clear and adhere it to the right bottom corner. Use a Quickie glue pen to go over the design in the paper and sprinkle with Crystal Ultrafine Transparent Glitter.  To create the pocket insert, cut aqua cardstock 5 3/4” x 5 1/2”. Choose one of the 6” x 6” panels from the paper collection, cut it down to 5 5/8” x 5 3/8”, ink the edges with Garden Patina ink and adhere to the aqua cardstock. Use the Quickie Glue Pen to define the design on the paper and sprinkle with Crystal Ultrafine Transparent Glitter.  Cut pearl white text paper 5 5/8” x 5 3/8” ink the edges with Magenta Hue ink, stamp the butterfly and sentiment from the Butterfly Kisses set on the white paper and adhere to the back of the aqua cardstock. Use the Decorative Medallion outer die to cut two pieces of the aqua cardstock. Adhere them back to back at the top of the insert panel. Diecut two of the decorative dies from pearl white cardstock, sponge with dries clear adhesive and sprinkle with Rajni Chawla’s Crystal Clear. When dry, adhere to the aqua diecuts.  Stamp Small Peonies on Floral Oriental White cardstock with Magenta Hue ink. Color with Rose Madder and Magenta Hue ink, diecut using the coordinating dies, shape using the 3D Floral Basics Shaping Mold and finish the shaping with the Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit. Assemble the petals to create one medium flower. Using dries clear adhesive, add Sage Advice Prills to the flower center. Stamp the Classic Rose Vines on Floral Oriental White cardstock using ColorBox Mint, color with Mint and Rose Madder Inks. Diecut using the coordinating die and add more Mint color around the edges. Sponge the flower and the leaves with dries clear and sprinkle with Crystal Clear. Use the hot glue gun to adhere to the decorative Medallion as shown.   Stamp the Fluttering Butterfly on Pink Azalea cardstock with VersaMark, sprinkle with Clear Sparkle Embossing Glitter, diecut with coordinating die and adhere to the card front.
